What do you like best?
I liked that you can add your own users, reviewers, the application is fairly simple and easy to use.
What do you dislike?
There are some items that I could do on my own, but I had to depend on customer service support quite a bit. Some areas I could edit, but email responders and triggers were set up by customer service. I often received responses more than 24 hours later, and it would be too late for my request, as we were working on deadlines and due dates.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I have used Reviewr as a reviewer for other competitions, and I utilized the software for my own competition. It is easy to use as a reviewer, but not as intuitive as an administrator.
What do you like best?
The personal attention we've received from Reviewr has really helped us adapt their software to some fairly unique needs. Austyn had made herself available 24/7 and we couldn't do what we do without her.
What do you dislike?
They don't maintain a voicemail inbox, but Austyn is always available, so we've worked around that.

Have a clear vision for what you want and the team will help you get there!
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We collect 400 essays from local students and are able to quickly (and paperless-ly) conduct three rounds of judging in an annual environmental contest.
What do you like best?
Intuitive and streamlined software. Can be scaled for 50 or 150 evaluations. Customer support is great.
What do you dislike?
Wish it had more robust reporting. There's no way to see if an assigned judged open their invitation email or it bounced.

We are solving a time issue - we needed a streamlined process to get people to evaluate nominations and we now spend less time to do the same work.
What do you like best?
Once you learn the terminology and how to operate the software as an admin it is fairly easy to use. I am able to figure out who has submitted their application for our event, when they submitted it and if they included all of the items requested. The downloadable excel document makes it easy to compile information about applicants and make it shareable with our team. We run an international application process and we were able to adapt Reviewr to work for applicants from around the world.
What do you dislike?
There were times when there were features that we needed weren't available, but Reviewr was good about offering solutions and has worked to add new features as a result. Changes to the application can sometimes take longer than desired as it requires edits on the back end that we do not have access to as admins.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Setup a pre-call with them to discuss your needs. Be clear in your communications and clear about what you need.

Made our application process much smoother (we used a combination of Excel and PDF in the past). Helped us reach more applications over the course of the three years we've been using it. Keeps all information in one place.
What do you like best?
Even my new volunteers can figure out the judges section and they hardly ever ask me for help. The whole system streamlined our processes and made it easy for me to run reports.
What do you dislike?
I'd like more controls over setting up new events--like creating a Constant Contact newsletter. If more features were drag and drop there would be less back and forth between me and the Reviewr staff.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are definitely other tools like Reviewr out there, but this one worked for our smaller Foundation. Other tools I've researched were built for large college advancement offices with hundreds of scholarships and they wanted to charge us as such.

I no longer have to spend an entire day photocopying applications or receive scores from judges only to find their Excel spreadsheet is empty---true story! Easy for teachers to apply for our grants, easy for students to apply for our scholarship, easy for judges and easy for me. Win!
