What do you like best?

What sold me almost immediately was the customer portal which game access to outstanding invoices, history and payment information. This has helped accelerate communication between our customers and our AR team.

An unexpected benefit was implementing the tool helped encourage communication and process development between account management and accounting teams. Having a common understanding has helped all participants operate well and have clear expectations of next steps.

The tool itself helps reduce the administrative effort and project management typically associated with AR processes. The outstanding actions sow up in a queue for us and overcoming inertia is improved because the email template is there, with associated invoice info, and ready to go.

What do you dislike?

I wish the tool had better integration with systems other than Quickbooks. For example, QBO contact management has a lot of limitation, such as, only one contact per company. Since Upflow uses QBO as the system of record, that leaves account manager information and customer contact information to be managed manually in many cases. Integration with Salesforce and similar CRM tools for this kind of information would lower the maintenance cost of this tool and improve the offering.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

- Established a common workflow and process for accounting, account managers and revenue leadership.

- Increased activity by staff in reaching out to customers because Upflow made it easier to do.

- Included invoice info and history in customer portal and communication back and forth was decreased.

- Increased volume of conversation with customer AP teams which helped resolved discrepancies between our records and our customer records.

- Significantly improved performance in collection of aged receivables (>90+ days).

What do you like best?

It is easy to navigate through the set up and once it is set up then it can be automated and removes the step of having to send out each invoice on the specific overdue date. Cuts down on manual work required in following up with overdue invoices

What do you dislike?

Not able to split invoices by Rep within a customer. Basically a customer can only be assigned one rep - however in our industry we have many reps who sell multiple products to the same company. We are not able to assign only the invoice required to each rep - it has to be the whole account and only one rep

What do you like best?

Instant connectivity to Quickbooks makes getting up and running super easy. The UI is extremely easy to understand. Automation workflows are easy to set up, and they provide you with great samples to get started. The onboarding process was fantastic as well, and I always get questions answered quickly.

What do you dislike?

There's nothing I dislike about the software.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Following up on Accounts Receivables is usually very manual, time consuming, and difficult to stay on top of. Upflow allows you to automate your follow up process, reducing your AR within weeks. It also helps identify problem customers quickly so you can take corrective actions and potentially mitigate serious bad debt. For my company Boxton we have significantly reduced outstanding AR as a result of using Upflow.

What do you like best?

Upflow automates the tedious process of checking in with clients manually. It has been instrumental in getting our overdue AR up to date. By being able to create a notifications workflow, we have been able to seamlessly remind our customers of upcoming and past due invoices. We have seen an incredibly high response rate, and in just three weeks of using this application, have seen an almost 50% decrease in overdue payments. Tracking communications is so easy and the team gets real-time updates on overdue accounts. Quickbooks only allows for three notifications, where now we can have 10 that are customized for each customer, and provides them with an easy link to access their account information. Overall, the customer support has been amazing, and I really think this tool has optimized the way we manage our accounts receivables.

What do you dislike?

I do wish there was a way to integrate email logging to track emails sent from email accounts as opposed to the platform.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

This product is incredible and gives me back so much time in my day that I used to spend manually trying to track down invoices and payments. The integration with Quickbooks is seamless, and provides much more accurate updates on each customer account.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are solving the problem of communication with the customer regarding upcoming and overdue invoices. The tags in the emails are huge in providing the customers will all of the details they need to make quick payments. It has also allows us to keep better track internally of where each invoice stands.

What do you like best?

I love how much time and energy this tool saves us. We were looking for something to help automate our reminders and increase our net revenue month to month - this has been an ideal solution and has exceeded our expectations.

The team at Upflow is so knowledgable, helped with every question I had along the way. We've already recommended them to several of our clients and hope they continue to build out the interface!

What do you dislike?

I wish Upflow had thank you's/invoice receipt capabilities. That's about the only thing I have to do manually at this point for invoicing.

Additionally, if there was a way to template the invoices within Upflow, that would also be great.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

This product is a must have for finance departments. I used to spend 5+ hours each month creating mindless reminders. Now, we have a product that does it for me so I can better spend my time on other projects, while still making sure our invoices are being collected!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We've been able to have more money in our account because of Upflow. Previously, we had issues with clients not receiving reminders/forgetting to pay on time, etc. Now that we've used Upflow, we're able to keep better track of the late payments and have more people paying on time.
