What do you like best?

After selling my business the new owner still had access to my entire history of Touch Bistro. A month before the sale I contacted TB and asked how my sales history etc information will be ported over to either a new account or held in the cloud in the event I needed to retrieve information due to an audit. They assured me I could download the system to a new personal iPad and use that as a link on demand through their tech department when needed. On the day before closing I did this with a tech downloading all my business historical data.

Needless to say, the new owner of the business continues to have access to my historical financial information. I have called perhaps 10 times to TB and have been assured at least 4 times this has been done. Calling them is a task itself as they don't seem to be able to manage their growth and look after their customers. No one seems to know what to do and how to cut off the access to my financial information. I suspect its not the first time someone has sold their business and the new owners kept the TB POS system, but I don't trust TB anymore and will not use it in any of my new restaurants.

Not bad ... horrendous! A recent review by a professional reviewer said the customer service was "so so" ... not true and clearly a professional reviewer and not a restaurant owner. The customer service is not existent - they don't answer the phone, they don't respond to emails - I have no idea how to get through to this company.When I open the system - it defaults to December 2018! I receive countless error messages - some saying I have no data available. You MUST allow customers to indicate a tip on their bill. So even if you are are a fast food / counter only service - customers are made to answer the question - do you want to leave a tip. I have asked that this be removed - Touchbistro's answer - sorry - not sorry!

We wanted to put a POS system in our fairstand. Checked it out and liked that TouchBistro specifically mentioned fairstand and small businesses. The person who answered the phone told us they weren't interested and said he would send us the name of another company that we may want to call. Really!!! And he didn't even do that! The real test of a company is how they treat the smallest of customers, and apparently they do not value their customers enough to even sell them the tools needed, not to mention the program.

Horror show experience in every way. Training is rushed, staff doesn't answer your questions, they seem driven to get rid of you. Calling customer service is a multi day affair, I once waited on the phone for 5 hours before giving up. People at the company range from sweet and kind and uninformed to downright nasty and unhelpful. Touch Bistro was the biggest mistake we have made in our business, the reporting is subpar and the inventory management is this side of totally useless. Forget it if something unexpected happened, we have been offline coming up on three weeks while Touch Bistro staff bounce around excuses for why they can't help us. RUN AWAY

TouchBistro sounds great up front. However, be warned that under no circumstances will you get a refund of any money if something goes wrong before you even get set up.They do not reveal everything up front. If you will need equipment, they use a third party seller called POSPortal, and I don’t think you could find a good review for them.TouchBistro withdrew $394 from my account on day one. On day three, POSPortal denied my equipment lease. TouchBistro refuses to refund my money, even though the software was never installed, no training has been done, and I’ve received no equipment.Basically, they told me that it was my fault because I was turned down for the lease by POSPortal.They take your money before the lease application is submitted.
