Each individual employee has a way to engage and give feedback on matters that matter to their company.
What do you like best?
Thoughtexchange gives participants the feeling of personal, face-to-face interaction. I
describe it as a combination of Facebook and a town hall meeting mixed together. People
get to see what other people are saying in a real, conversation, but it’s much more convenient for them to participate than a meeting and still authentic and controlled.
What do you dislike?
It's an investment, but worth it for having critical community conversations.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
It has sped up the process for gathering community feedback. We can get results live, in real-time or within a few weeks. We also have greater participation than a traditional meeting-style community engagement. The platform is great for allowing the participant to share what they really want to talk about and the moderation helps keep that in check as well.
What do you like best?
Ability to ask open ended questions and get live responses. Great way to obtain feedback. The support and tutorials are also helpful when getting started.

Restrictions to how some of the data can be shared. Other than that, very satisfied.

Great software to use to obtain feedback from a large group and analyze results and data.

I have not experienced any problems. Great way to obtain feedback from the public without being obtrusive. Easy to use. Easy to setup exchanges. Easy to navigate. Online tutorials available online for instruction on live exchange, virtual events, and in person events.
What do you like best?
The Thoughtexchange provides participants with the feeling that they interact personally. I define this as a combination of Twitter and a joint town hall meeting. You can see what others say in a real conversation, but you can contribute even more than an objective and guided meeting.
What do you dislike?
Cost is the main drawback since all companies do not handle a budget that fits what is needed to implement the Thoughtexchange software.

I recommend the software as long as I have a budget that fits the software costs.

It has accelerated the process of collecting feedback from the community. In real time or in a matter of weeks, we may get results live. They are also more active than a typical community-style contribution. The platform is great to allow the participant to talk and the moderation also helps to keep this in check.
