Only positive comment I have is they offer a mobile app to process payroll.

They take any "surprise" fees whenever they want. Customer service needs improvement. Very unhappy. Switched to ZenPayroll & saving over $300 per year!

They could not do anything right and then many of their reps could care less. They filled out the tax forms wrong and then it took a long time to get them to send in a correction, I had to constantly follow up on all issues with them since they were not doing what they said they would. Then they continued to charge me for months after I cancelled my account and they said there would be no further fees. I had to call 3 times to see where the refund was and there was always an excuse. STAY AWAY from them

Nothing. Service has dropped over the past several years.

I have used SurePayroll for years, the past the service has declined significantly. The problem wasn't just isolated to one business, but all three of the businesses I have. Each had errors in filing and the local taxes they never seemed to get right with notifications throughout the year referencing untimely filing. Two of the businesses I moved to a different company. The last, I made the mistake to not prioritize a move. Now, it is 1/31/16 and I am not able to print my W2's for my employees, which is required by today. I sent an email weeks ago and never received a response. I called them and the lady was unhelpful and told me they would be ready by 1/31. That was when they were to batched. I was furious and the manager offered no solution other than tough luck I will have to wait. So here it is 1/31 and guess what? It says there some error and I cannot print them and to call. So I called, but it's Sunday and no one there to help me out. Terrible, terrible, terrible service. Avoid at all cost!!!

Services have been declining. I would recommend finding another solution.

Payroll and tax filing

Interface is easy to use on the web or within the mobile app.

If you are an employer in Pennsylvania, avoid this company at all costs! I have been with them the last few years and they have yet to get the local taxes correct. The time you are supposed to save having them run your payroll will be spent on fruitless calls to their customer support and your local tax collectors.

If you are trying to pay an employee's local taxes with a different PSD than your business, you will have problems. If you are trying to pay an employee's local taxes with the same PSD as your business, you will have problems.

Really simple payroll for one employee.

As long as everything is moving along without issue the product is fine. However, just hope you don't need to call in for assistance.

On multiple occasions when I've called in for assistance I could barely hear the representative. I never had a call with them where they didn't sound as if they were following a script and they refused to help if it was outside of their scope (on one occasion I asked if I could send them a screen shot of my issue and they said no, check with my HR Administrator for assistance. My HR Admin was the one who said I needed to contact SurePayroll in the first place. It just kept going back and forth until my admin had to drop everything and contact them on her own. Just no controls in place to help without going through your admin.

It seems like the service has gotten worse year after year. Is that something you want to subject your employees to regarding their income and retirement plan?
