What do you like best?
I like the fact that Shopify makes it easy to set up your store with dozens of premade templates to choose from. With Shopify you can easy sell your own products on Ebay and Amazon with a click of a button. Shopify also makes shipping easy with integration with USPS and many other carriers. Getting paid is Simple as well as Shopify integrates with Stripe, PayPal and many other payment providers.
What do you dislike?
The one thing I do not like about Shopify is that they do not accept stores with all domain extensions. Such as the *.club extension. This makes it hard for store without top level domain extensions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that your store's domain is a top level .com .net or.org domain.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I have found a great platform to host my store and list my products on eBay. I also have learned how to drop ship products. I also seen that you can add your Shopify store to Walmart Marketplace as well.
What do you like best?
Shopify makes it so easy to create an internet store to showcase your products. Within a few hours, you are able to begin taking orders. Many themes are available to make your store look unique, friendly. The user experience with Shopify is quite satisfactory. Repeat customers love the ability to see historical orders and then use them to order again and again.
What do you dislike?
The application allows you to track inventory, place orders, make adjustments, and enter purchase order incoming product quantities for each line. What it doesn't have is a way to easily convert the incoming PO into a receipt. This is done via stock adjustments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will be completely happy with the decision you made to use the Shopify e-Commerce platform.
Especially the ease of connecting to existing shipping providers or using Shopify's discounted rates with various shipping companies.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Expanding sales area footprint. By using Shopify I now can reach the entire world through the store site. Don't need brick and mortar stores opened up in various cities to get more sales. Shopify is the store.
What do you like best?
The simplicity of how i can setup and get going in a few hours is what i like the most. Shopify has tons of apps which will give you all the options you might need; From upsell to post purchase upsell, easy to customise the themes. Shopify provides dozens of free themes and they are all mobile friendly.
I have around 3 stores and I am more than happy that I don't have to worry about site load, hacking attempts, pixel not working, random errors.
What do you dislike?
I don't like paying the transaction fees. They should give some limit like first $50k sales every month should be free. Also from last year they took away our ability to make changes to checkout page, i don't like that as well.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I don't have to take care of hosting, security related things. The peace of mind where i know my data is safe is very important to me. I have also tried woocommerce, the amount of time it takes me to just setup pixels is a lot and it is very complicated, plus you have to update your site when there is a bug and that happens quite a lot of times.
What do you like best?
Shopify is very flexible and easy to use. Simple add-ons and quick use of options you need.
What do you dislike?
As of now, I don't find any negative options in this.
