I tried switching my list of 19,000+ from MailChimp to SendFox. I have a simple RSS feed email that I send out each week.First issue, when importing my list from MailChimp, there were random numbers put into the First Name column. I had no way to delete them in bulk, so I contacted tech support. The tech couldn't delete them either, and couldn't even delete the list so I could try uploading again. It was Friday evening and he said only the developers could handle the fix, so I had to wait until Monday. Didn't hear back from him until Tuesday.Second issue, when I tried to set up the Smart Campaign to send each Sunday, there were no instructions on how to format the email template. Turns out that's because there's no way to format it! I was stuck with their terrible format that looks like a 90s-style email. In order to format the email, I would have to do so manually each week. Their Smart Campaign isn't so smart...I cancelled my license and tried to cancel my Empire Add-On. They refunded my license, but told me I was past the 3-day refund time for the Add-On. The only reason I was past that time was because I had to wait four days for their developers to fix the list, yet they still refused to issue a refund for the add-on. I ran a charge back with my card company instead. It was only $10, but still, there's no way they deserve even a dollar for their crappy service and junk email template.JUNE 9TH UPDATE: I received an email from SendFox asking if I would take down this review:"I noticed you left a 1 star review in TrustPilot about this. If I request to have your $10 refunded back to you would you retract the TrustPilot review?"First, I already got my $10 refund through the charge back. Second, it's nice to know you try to pay people off in order to keep the bad reviews to a minimum.

I was hoping to move across from MailChimp to SendFox and save some $$. Unfortunately, I just wasted a lot of time and money.From day one I wasn't happy with SendFox, but it had a good rating and was cheap. So, I tried to stick with it and give it ago.The finial straw was this weekend, when it took a couple of hours to draft a newsletter and I sent it to a friend to check and for them to add their content etc.The email was blocked and I was locked out of my account. Waited a couple of days for a response and was told "the reason you were banned is because you had really high spam score on the campaign you created" & "all the campaigns you send had a really high bounce rate".There was no warning, they just banned my account and deleted my campaign, no chance to edit it or anything (hours wasted).Compared to MailChimp the bounced is a lot higher with SendFox and more often than not, they go straight to junk.Honestly, don't waste your time and pay a bit more for a better product and service.

Sendfox only sends to 10% of your list, saying it's optimizing them for your benefit. It's not a benefit, and it is a waste of time and effort.The comments below do not help. It is a bait and switch tactic. No where does it state on any of their purchasing features that it will restrict your emails to 10% or obviously one wouldn't purchase it.

It's smart, it's fairly easy to use once you've gone through the Youtube tutorials. I can put the same person in different list and it's not counted as a duplicate. It can help me pull a smart email campaign from the blog I put up. I can tag and send only to those tagged as e.g. "X". For these, it wins the Marketing platform I'm using now. My only gripe is the BUTTON LINK is always giving my recipients the same problem. For every email sent, I have to reply at least 15 emails to why it says "Too many...after I clicked", "Is the server busy"? And the reply from SendFox is that if there are 5 clicks from the same IP address, the link won't work. And TBH, I've also tested it as a recipient for all my emails. Sometimes the 1st click may not even work - so odd! I checked to the Support Team, there's nothing they can do. So now, I have to type out the URL and inform ppl to Copy and Paste the URL to another browser. It's a bummer and I wish the Sendfox team can fix this cos I can have more than 5 people within the same company clicking the email that I sent.
