What do you like best?
iContact always has great customer service and I have always been able to chat a representative no matter the time of day. I like being able to see how many contacts opened our emails.
What do you dislike?
iContact is very surface level. It isn't possible to do simple things, like drag a graphic to where you want it to be, or to wrap text around a photo, and text formatting options are very limited. It is also very difficult to add contacts to certain lists. There are lots of limitations to things that I believe should be simple and automatic, and I feel as if I am constantly jumping through hoops to achieve simple tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have complicated, in depth email marketing goals, iContact is not for you

We have been able to send mass emails to our whole contact list with one click which is helpful. It is also nice to see what percentage of our recipient list is even opening the message.
What do you like best?
It is a good beginner email marketing tool.
What do you dislike?
It is a little clunky to use at times. Does not give you very accurate metrics on emails.

icontact is pretty easy to use and integrates with our CRM (Salesforce, which is important to our organization, and allows us to monitor and track email data.
What do you dislike?
Icontact lacks flexibility in designing e-mails (unless you know html. I have sometimes been frustrated by the limitations design-wise, because you have to stick to specific blocks. The templates are not particularly modern looking, although I have been able to create decent looking -mails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a communications tool that integrates with Salesforce, this one does that and works fine. I have no raving reviews, and would not necessarily recommend icontact as I don't love the way the e-mails look, but it works well for what we need it for, and I haven't had terrible experiences, in fact their support has been very helpful to me.

I can integrate with Salesforce to keep track of information about how individual contacts interact with email communications.

The thing I liked best with iContact was the easy ux

It seems like as competitors like MailChimp grew in the scope of features and functionality iContact just seems dated

It is easy to add contacts and to send out mass emails to all of your contacts.
What do you dislike?
I feel like editing the templates are not very easy. It takes a while to learn and it's hard for me to move things around and edit the templates to the way I want them.

This is a good service to use if you're looking for a way to send out mass emails to your subscribers. However, make sure you give yourself plenty of time to learn how it works and know the templates may be difficult to work with.

We are able to send out mass emails to our guests, including our monthly newsletters and any updates we have.
