AdaptiveUS has provided me an above average experience for taking the ECBA exam. There are strong points in their favor but there are also significant points of improvement that could be made.Caveat: I have not tried any other BA training programs.Overall, I would recommend AdaptiveUS for those people who are getting started in business analysis and wish to kickstart their exposure to the profession. Based on my experience, I suggest that you study rigorously, autonomously after you attend all four classes and watch their video content. The BABOK is almost a must-buy.Starting off with the positives:1. The amount of online resources available is substantial for those who wish to learn by repetition, without a teacher. I was happy to be able to repeat several of their simulation tests and question groups pertaining different knowledge areas of the BABOK.2. I bought their premium package which granted me access to a whole year's subscription at IIBA.org, almost on-the-clock support for any issue I had, among other perks. Definitely worth the investment.3. Trainers and staff are very friendly. They will answer your questions and they mean to actively bring you into the loop during class.If you're deciding to enroll in IIBA certification through AdaptiveUS, expect the following challenges:1. Their online platform is subpar. As a software engineer and product owner by profession, I could spot a significant amount of improvements to be made, specifically around performance, device responsiveness and mobile, and overall aesthetics. Remember, AdaptiveUS claims to be #1; their online platform does not reflect that, in my opinion.2. A lot of the supporting material is also visually outdated and not appealing. It fares well if you don't care about that sort of thing but it did impact my engagement levels.3. Some of the teachers relied on reading slides during 75–80% of the class rather than being creative and engaging with out-of-the-box experiences. As a trainer myself, I spotted an incredible opportunity to differentiate the experience for students during class.4. Overall, the written copy throughout the course is in need of proofreading. I had this feeling that it was not written by native English speakers. If you're not a native speaker or bilingual, you'll get by. If you are, you'll be significantly hindered as some of the tests' questions become harder to understand and force to you double read, which takes exam time.5. If you are logged into their platform, leave your desk and come back again after around 15-20 minutes, it throws you a technical error page instead of redirecting you to the login screen. You might be startled with it.
