What do you like best?
7 Shifts is best tool in managing shift manager tasks efficiently. Starting from employee's performance monitoring to maintaining other tasks.
What do you dislike?
There are few integration issues sometimes.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Task management
Cumbersome. Slow. Trial option included sections and events but the functionality disappeared when we started paying. Cost was also more than original quote.
There are many glitches that are the basics of scheduling that are not programmed properly such as:1. Maximum hours2. Not giving split shifts3. Randomizing shifts every week4. Giving more than 5 days of shiftsThese are the most basic backend setup that should be done. So rather than spending 10 min verifying the schedule, you are spending more time adjusting everything. The only reason we like this program is the availabilities, shift pools and time off request are sent directly and approved when needed. Plus you can block dates so no one can request them off. Please fix the simplest glitches and your program will be better.
I wish the new features could be turned on or off as many are not particularly helpful. Also, I’d like to see a scrolling feature on the calendar so that I could see the week before and after to make sure I’m not scheduling someone to open on Sunday when they closed on Saturday. A “Back to Top” button on the punches page would be great, too.
