What do you like best?
The UI for VWO was great - simple and straight forward.
What do you dislike?
I wanted to love VWO, but when I used the visual website editor to run a trial, it didn't work. Things didn't integrate well, there would be gaps in our pages or the changes weren't centered.

Just make it work.

We need to test what works and what doesn't on our site and unfortunately VWO wasn't a good option.

If you do marketing, VWO offers a variety of tools that can help you as a marketer.
What do you dislike?
The UX is terrible. I've never had to talk to support about building segments until I started using VWO. In addition, certain segmentation options are available for landing pages, but not for surveys. Overall, if you want to use VWO, expect to reach out to support about 8 times until you learn how it works. Pretty poor experience.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
A variety of CRO tools under one roof.
The Heatmaps only have a fraction of the actual traffic recorded. The recordings are corrupted very often. The A/B testing tool is very temperamental, most of the time to set one up you need to do it 2-3 times from scratch.
We created 3 tests in our first few months and had issues with the software during all of them. The payment process was unacceptably convoluted. All of this resulted in our team spending way too much time trying to troubleshoot the tool and communicating with the VWO sales team. We canceled our account early and sought a refund (which was denied as all of the tests we did weren't conclusive because the software switched variations or didn't show them at all. We have used VWO in the past and the experience was much better, not sure what has happened to make everything fall to pieces.
