Marg Snipcart

I like how simple and straightforward SnipCart is. It integrated with our website very easily and it is probably the most easy to navigate payment processing app I've used. When I'm looking for information, or for how to do something on the site, it is always easy to find exactly what I'm looking for without a bunch of click-holes and goose chases. I also like that it tracks customers and tells us about abandoned carts, so we can reach out to potentially lost customers.

The only thing I don't like about SnipCart, and it may be that I just haven't figured out how to do it, is that it doesn't notify me of orders. When I get an order, I don't know about it. I don't get an email or anything. I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it, I just haven't figured it out yet. I have to actually launch the site and check every day to see if I have new orders.

I have use both authnet and Snipcart and when it comes to order organization, there's nothing like SnipCart. It is laid out very intelligently and I have never had it not perform. In comparison to other capturing tools, Snipcart is very easy to navigate. It's easy to find what I'm trying to do, whether it's discount codes or website integration, is is easy to find what I'm looking for on the website.

Snipcart solves the problem of order collection and data collection for sales off our website. The main benefit is that it organizes our orders in a very intelligent way, to make fulfillment a breeze. I like that it is easy to download the invoices and track them individually and as a group.

What is great about Snipcart is that you can have a simple web store up and running without a database.

There wasn't any one thing that I disliked about it.

Use this if you don't want to manage a database.

A client I was working for wanted to add a store to their site. The problem was that the site was static. There was no database of any kind. The store was for a one-time event, and than after the event, they were not going to need it again. Because of the limited duration of the project, it did not make business sense to invest in a full data base and store CMS and inventory system.

Snipcart has an excellent API that lets you customize it to meet a lot of needs. The API allows you to integrate the store directly into your existing site. If you don't need customization, you can get set up in just a few minutes. Snipcart has inventory management and coupon codes. My client made a lot of use of the coupon codes.

My client was a non-profit using the store as a fundraiser. Using it, they were able to raise thousands of dollars for their building project without a huge overhead.
