What do you dislike?
It simply doesn't give you nearly enough WYWSIG options. Can't bulletise or numerical order. Can't highlight anything, can't embolden. It really isn't much better than a basic desktop post-it note. Nowhere near the same scale as Evernote or OneNote.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a note-taking app, but you really don't get much else from it. I really don't see the point of going to the Windows store and downloading it. Some free apps give you a nice unique selling point - it'll be a cold day in Tahiti before I can figure out what on Earth this one's is. Ooh, I can switch it from white to black background - sign me up as my eyes roll.
WYWSIG needs to be implemented to even get people thinking this tool could be a useful compendium in their everyday lives. Can't upload pictures, only Ctrl + C on screenshots - add this, and it might help the tool stand out. It clearly needs a jolt though.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Nothing in particular, merely sampling note taking devices. I honestly can't look at this tool as anything worthy of your time and effort.

I like the detailed description of the features and ability to use multiple features at the same time.

I don’t like the complex software setup and I think can be improved.

What do you like best?
What I like best about SimpleNote is it was designed to lessen the distractions. Too simple that it will automatically detect the first line of your notes as your Headline or title of your notes. Quite straightforward, and no learning curve at all. You use it straight out of the box, and start taking notes. No other bloated features that usually distracts you and does more harm than good especially when you are in a speedy conversation where you need nothing but taking notes and making sure that you have minimal distractions as possible.
What do you dislike?
What I dislike about SimpleNote is it is too simple. I can not directly paste an image or another form of media on their editor, something that I have to do manually. Or probably they just don't design simple note for a media-rich editor. Either way, if based on its ability to provide distraction-free note-taking tools, then SimpleNote does its job well as advertised.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For a minimalist note-taking tool that you can rely on for an effective jotting down important details then I highly recommend SimpleNote.

I use SimpleNote when I am inside a team meeting and in a forum where the speed of taking notes is the same as the speed of conversation. You Can't just ask the lecturer or your team members to repeat what they just said about their presentation because you were too distracted using different tools and features presented. SimpleNote is simple a straightforward tool that does one thing and does it good, which is taking notes efficiently and effectively.
