What do you like best?
absolutely nothing, ended up being a total scam and waste of money, no results, aggressive tactics, say there was a guarantee for results but they will never honor it.
What do you dislike?
everything, won't honor their guarantee and the service will not give you results, YOU have to bring THEM customer contacts, total scam

none, run away, they will take your money and you will have nothing to show for it

only caused problems, did it to increase customers thru advertising, zero benefits and had $1200 effectively stolen from me

Offers review, feedback, and referral collection

Inability to brand or customize virtually ANYTHING on the emails
Frustrating customer service when dissatisfied
No free trial and they won't release you from contracts if you're unhappy
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't bother if you have any sort of high-touch, relationship-based business or want to maintain branding consistency. There's no true white-labeling or ability to customize the email in any way if you don't like how something looks or reads. They'll tell you it's because they've tested the language and this is what performs best, etc. but you can't even add a custom message to what they have in the email already.

The sales rep I had was really good at overcoming our initial objections and we decided that this would potentially be a good investment and we'd give it a shot. They have no free trial, so you can get a sales person to walk you through the system, but there were things we didn't think to ask and didn't know the system wouldn't do until AFTER we got in it and started to play around. Shocked to find that virtually nothing is customizable (outside of creating a whole manual campaign that you could do yourself for free in MailChimp which strips away the entire value of the Signpost system). In this day and age, to not be able to modify the look and feel of the automated emails, fix the size of your logo, control the branding, adjust the text, or at LEAST be able to add your own custom message is insane.
Once we figured out that this was all locked and un-editable, I called and asked to get out of the contract thinking that there had to be a grace period or something since we hadn't even done anything with the system yet and it was less than a week since we signed up. We were also assured by the sales rep that if we weren't happy, we could cancel. Apparently none of that was true.
I've now spent a couple of hours on the phone with them and the "best they can do" is charge me for 6 months instead of 12. I'm not done fighting them on this and am hoping they'll do the right thing since frankly it's just bad business to refuse to let us out given how frustrated and unhappy we are.
I'll adjust this review if they make good on letting us out without penalty, but if they still refuse, I'll make sure every other small business owner knows the things we wish we knew before we signed up.
I'm sure this probably works great for some businesses, but if you have any sort of branding you'd like to keep consistent or if your business is really highly personal relationship-based, don't waste your time or money.

They won't let you cancel your account without a huge off-boarding process. They tell you your account manager is not available and they continue to charge you. They literally refuse to cancel your account without making it extremely difficult.

Tricked into signing a 12 month contract my Sam after I asked him can I cancel at any given time. Don't believe anything this company tries to sell you. They are more worried about their personal sales then your long term business. Read all the reviews.

They will tell you anything to lock you in.. then it's impossible to cancel
This company forces you to call them to cancel your subscription with them. I spent an hour on the phone with them, explaining why their product didn't fit my needs and that I'm done with them and want to cancel.They do not tell you in the account when the renewal date is. If you speak with them, they will tell you in an email. But they do not give you this information without speaking to them.If they charge you for the service, there is no way you can receive a refund. It's "not their policy". It is apparently in their terms and conditions that they offer no refunds. My client was not aware of this policy, however. And now he has paid another $270 for a service he was not using, and will definitely not be using any longer. The only reason he still had the service at all is because he felt coerced into keeping it. I thought it was just his personality being soft. Then I dealt with the aggressive tactics Signpost employs to retain their dissatisfied users. No wonder he felt guilty canceling.If Signpost has to resort to such methods to keep customers from canceling, something must be terribly wrong with their service. Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks it's vastly overpriced for the service they provide. Even that would not bother me nearly as bad if it weren't for the shady business practices and no refund policy.Worth is determined by ROI. If someone can get enough ROI out of this service to justify the high price tag, more power to them. However, based purely upon the difficulty in dealing with the company and the no refund policy, I recommend customers seeking a CRM stay away from Signpost.
