What do you like best?
Shared Spaces interface is okay, and the content viewer for shared links is okay as well.
What do you dislike?
The UI is difficult to use, and not intuitive. The search is really difficult if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. You also can't see the breakdown of the consumption of what pages people are viewing and for how long. I find myself searching, re-searching, and still frustrated that I can't find what I need. When viewing content, you should be able to scroll down even with a slide deck, but instead you have to click to the right to progress which is frustrating. We depend heavily on GoogleDocs for most of our content.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you're evaluating other tools out there-ask to speak with customers your size that are users of the platform, not just administrators.

We are supposed to be using Showpad for content management, but we are using GoogleDocs heavily in addition.
What do you like best?
Showpad was solid when it came to housing content and being able to group that content in the right spots.
What do you dislike?
It’s nearly impossible to find the right document that you’re looking for with the search bar. Whatever algorithm they use to populate search results is in need of a massive overhaul because it will bring up very antiquated pieces of content. That makes using the tool very inefficient and drove myself and many others on my team to simply abandon the tool quickly.

Honestly, it didn’t solve much but rather created new problems that ultimately led to abandonment.
What do you like best?
Having all marketing content stored in one place.
What do you dislike?
Not all companies will accept hyperlinks so it doesn't work for all sales reps who have government contacts.

Check to make sure hyperlinks aren't any issues with most of your customers before purchasing.

Having one location where all the most up to date information is living has been very helpful.
What do you like best?
Opportunity to support the sales rep's storyline in the customer meeting. Easy for me as sales enablement manager to push content.
What do you dislike?
I don't know if this exists. But community with easy access training elements which can be put together in a program to support users. To onboard new users and support and develop existing users.

One source of truth / content platform for marketing. We are just starting on redesigning content setup to support the flow in a customer meeting. Currently it's mostly used as a fancy doc management system
What do you like best?
I like that you can store lots of different marketing tools on one platform.
What do you dislike?
It seems difficult to navigate and is extremely slow to load for me at times. Perhaps I don't use it enough.

To make sure they give good training to the sales people / employees using it.

Problems - slow to load and difficult to find certain items at times.
Benefits - great centralized place to store marketing collateral. Nice to know how much time prospects are looking at a specific document.
