What do you like best?
Ease of access is a breeze most days. Keeping records that are clear and concise

It's easy to use and usually never has any system issues. It's a reliable system.
What do you dislike?
Wish it was easier to search by social in the main PA20/PA30 option
Wish it was able to chronologically organize information
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If looking for something that is up to date and has more ease to use this may not be your best bet. What is available works great but could definitely use some updating to get up to the times of being more user friendly.

Keeps a database of our employee information. Used everyday to work with employees on our campus.

Tracks $ and inventory movements and can break up by individual departments
What do you dislike?
it does not observe actual piece count - only dollar value in monthly inventory.

track piece count as well as dollar value

total cost put into final product - man hrs - machine hrs scrap etc.
What do you like best?
I work for a sales/marketing firm. We represent many clients, and the one I work for is a very large, very well known name (don't know if I can mention it so I won't). This company - back in July - migrated from their old Legacy system to SAP. I love the fact that I only have to log in ONCE during the day. Sometimes the system times me out, but overall, I can get through a day on 1 session. The old system I'd get kicked out after 20 minutes of inactivity!
What do you dislike?
It's MUCH more complex than the old Legacy system. Our particular version doesn't have the most pleasant interface. The old Legacy system (which very much resembled AS400) was very easy to read - bright colors on a black background. With large font. SAP is a... Meh red, with really small font.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I don't know that I can give a fully credible one at this point. I've only been using the system since July of this year.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
SAP has a myriad of options never possible with Legacy. Especially on the "back" end (which I don't get to see much of). It allows the client I work for a much more detailed snapshot of operations.
What do you like best?
It helps with productivity and allows you to take quick actions on what needs to be done next

Can be slow depending on what you are working on.

We use it as an MRP interface, provides certain data to the appropriate people
