What do you like best?
The only thing good I could think of is it is cloud based. Nothing else about this software is worth even saying it is good.
What do you dislike?
It's slow and crashes all the time. The business logic is terrible and configuration is a nightmare. It's not intuitive. The marketing hr and service sections are useless. Worst software ithink I have ever dealt with.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Sap by design creates problems it does not solve problems. I have realized that there is no worse software out there.
What do you like best?
I liked the look of our website while we used ByDesign. The real-time figures were nice to see as well on the back end of the business page. The eCommerce site was very pleasing to look at.
What do you dislike?
The functionality of the eCommerce site was rough. When we had problems it took forever for them to fix them, or they never did fix them. Our direct sales company switched to use ByDesign after we had tremendous growth. The switch was horrible, we didn't last long on the program before we switched back to our old system that got re-vamped.

It might be a great program for your business, it just wasn't a good fit for our company.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The idea of it was pretty decent, but the actual roll-out and usage of it was seriously lacking.
What do you like best?
The CRM capabilities are functionally sound, but can be very tough to navigate.
What do you dislike?
After working with Salesforce and HubSpot, ByDesign is very tough to work with. The interface is not user friendly, transitions aren't smooth, and information is not easily accessible.

We are trying to manage all vendors and clients through a singular platform and can do so across all functions using ByDesign.
What do you like best?
The system has tons of features and reporting capabilities so that you can track just about any metric that you want.
What do you dislike?
Getting the system setup is a nightmare. The cost from day 1 until going live was extremely high, and even after that the licensed SAP consultants still needed dozens more hours just to iron out the kinks. If a process isn't setup correctly from the VERY BEGINNING of the implementation then rectifying it will require countless man hours. Unfortunately it's difficult to know the best way to set up everything from the start since there's so many features and nuances to them that you're not fully aware of until you start working in the system. Navigating the system is not straightforward, the design is pretty clunky.

Inventory tracking and management was made easier. But only once all system issues were corrected, which took months.
What do you like best?
It's flexible, it fits a lot of businesses. It's cloud based so no downloads. Once you know it it can create complicated databases.
What do you dislike?
Once there is no Internet, your stuck and no work can be done. Quite bugy, canceling documents at certain stages is a nightmare. There are sometimes 3 ways of canceling documents. Vague indications why you can't do certain actions.
Using it is not intiuative, unless someone shows you what to do you wownt know how to use it. Every step of a transaction you have to know which tab and sub tab to open. Once you make an order in the system it wownt show you a button to print a pick list. Once you confirm a pick list theres no button on that page to get you an invoice. You have to find an invoice tab print it from there. If your one person tasked with putting an order in, picking it, confirming and then invoicing its a lot of screens to g through. There's a lot to dislike, but this solution is popular because it can work with a lot of businesses and employers don't think about the people that work with this software on daily bases.
Software covers accounting, purchases, sales and warehousing + more but I wouldn't call it user friendly in any of its fields.

I used to use it in purchasing, sales and warehousing a a wholesaler, but switched to another program.
