I cannot recommend this product after 1 year. I found recently they've been over charging me for text messages and calls for literally the enture duration. Charging me 3x the price for texts - because I had an apostrophe in the word "I'm"......... this is why that said "their text client charged me 3x the price" ... then I found when I logged calls from my phone I wuold get back to my computer and be asked to log the same call and so I would thinking it was not big deal just a flaw in their system... no .. they used this an opportunity to charge me twice for that call........ Lot of things that the average consumer would simply over look. This in addition to a multitude of bugs issues and errors. For a week or two I couldn't answer business calls from my cell phone..... btw they charge you twice for answering business call on your cell... Really no matter what the scenario I cannot recommend this CRM given I have experience with Pipedrive, Salesforce, SalesLoft, and others over the years. This is low cost but equally as low quality. There you have my 1 year experience. I will compliment their support team as they certainly do try to help. But this system has just too many flaws if you ask me.

pain the ass I've had so many issues. I hadn't used the account in a couple months they charged me and I contacted them instantly to ask for a refund they refused ... although they had just charged me moments earlier like minutes.. then proceeded to continue billing me.

If you miss a single payment, they immediately delete all your leads. They don't just freeze it, they actually delete it and have no way or restoring it. It takes effort and time to build quality leads and yet prefer to blackmail you to continue paying or they delete immediately everything, no way to pause the service.

What do you like best?

The overall design and the full set of features are good. It is easy to use and understand.

What do you dislike?

Somehow, this is performing quite slowly on both my laptop and my phone. I also received multiple notice for a single email reception which is quite annoying when it pops up 4 times on top of the display.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I recommend using at least the trial offer to fully understand whether this is something you need or no for your company. The premium version offers interesting metrics that you do not have in the basic plan, unfortunately...

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I decided to use salesmate in order to automatise some emailing campain and share a list of prospect with a teammate.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Bulk emailing is amazing with tagging which is what I use it for the most. Also, the ability to see the emails trail in each contact is great. Their customer service is amazing and they are very polite and courteous. They are striving to always get better which is a good sign but improvement need to be made to mix it with the big boys.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

They are quite a few glitches that I experience. They do fix most of them but everytime one is fixed, I find that another little glitch occurs. They have a quick turn around usually in fixing issues. What could work better is many more Api\\\'s. If open a notification in Gmail, I the email doesn\\\'t display correctly. They informed me they are waiting on Gmail to approved the extension fix. They don\\\'t have enough Apis compared to many other platforms such as Copper, Salesforce and The Hub Spot. They still need Xero api which I am still waiting for. The salesmate extension in Gmail needs quote a bit of work to make it easier to work with. The display option isn\\\'t quite right yet. Also, they only have conversation only view in emails when using salesmate email which I really dislike and they dont give you an option to turn it off. I loath it. They used to have it off prior to joining bit didn\\\'t give an option to turn it off once they changed it back. Another thing to get better is if a contact has 2 emails,when you send an email, it doesn\\\'t track it to see who opened it. It says opened by anyone. Invoicing integration isn\\\'t added in yet accept quickbooks online which is not good when competing with the top 10 crm companies. This is a must.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

They fix most problems and usually in a quick turn around. Their support is brilliant. One of the best inhave ever dealt with. They are very friendly too. Salesmate help my company ib quite a big with bulk emailing to tags. This is a huge plus in my eyes. They are always willing to listen to improvements. If they get rolled out, only time will tell. I love how I can see wou opened an email I sent. I love this and works well.
