Bad integration with iOS makes it unsuitable for me
Received a Quicken 2019 Premier 14-month activation CD as a gift. This was an Amazon special (14 months for the price of 12). On the back of the unopened CD box it clearly states the code in the package expires 12/31/2020. I tried to activate it on 12/28/2020 and Quicken says that it expired. Phoned Quicken and they said that it doesn't matter what the box says, they expire the code if not activated within a certain time frame. Since it was a gift given with the best intentions, I decided to stop using Quicken and install Moneydance. Quicken should be ashamed.
Reconcilliation still does not work properly
The mobile app is slow to the point of being unusable.When I manually input transactions, they almost never match up with the transactions from my banks and cards once they synchronize.Upcoming transactions do not match bills when they come through and when I go to link them with an existing transaction, the expected transaction does not appear in the search view from there, but it does appear in all transactions. It takes many steps to correct this, so I have given up on keeping track of bills this way.There have been other experiences that have made the app difficult for me to use without feeling impatient or frustrated, but that's what I can remember off the top of my head.
Terrible service that makes it nearly impossible to quit or change your email preferences. Website does not work on mobile. Just make a hard pass on this.
