What do you like best?
Allows CDC replication from MS SQL Server.

What do you like best?
Easy to install Attunity/Qlik Replicate and Enterprise Manager. Set up on multiple environments is smooth. The UI is very user friendly and easily understandable.
The set up guide is very descriptive and is the best source for any questions/concerns during the set up process.
This is light weight. And has not caused any performance issues while loading 50 GB part of our POC.
What do you dislike?
Besides the functionality, the most important thing is the availability of support for any requests. Had mixed experiences with cases submitted where one gets taken care of within the same day whereas one would be on-going for couple of months. Delay of response on a case would hinder work of an individual/company pushing back deadlines.
Nothing specific to product but there are not many great articles or websites besides the original Qlik set up guide or channels that would help when you get struck.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Qlik Replicate is generous enough to give trial licenses targeting the source and target you want to use the product on. Recommend working with Qlik Replicate to do a POC to see the benefits, which would help you to take a call(mostly positive).
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We are using Attunity/Qlik Replicate to stream data from our RDBMS database to cloud. This has been selected as a better tool to replace the existing SQL Server CDC technology which was causing blockings and performance issues.
We are no more seeing the blocking though we are in initial stages of using this product. So far, this looks a good call.
What do you like best?
Attunity helps to capture CDC from several source systems into several channels such as network files, S3 etc. File can be stored in different format as required. It also supports Column level functions which can be used case to case basis.
What do you dislike?
Attunity replicate is not very stable at times,, we have faced several issues where it stopped ingesting production data all of a sudden impacting all downstream. Data transfer monitoring also can be improved.

Attunity is good in terms of ingestion tool but lacks reliability at times.

Real-time data ingestion in Big data lake, Use to load data from RDBMS to S3 in CSV file format.
What do you like best?
The ease provided by Qlik Replicate has taken off a large part of burden on data warehouse team to maintain syncing. The seamless way of integrating multiple sources leaves the team to focus on getting insights rather than importing data.
What do you dislike?
The comfort provided by Qlik Replicate does not leave any room for anything to be complaining about. Right from ease of initial setup to ongoing maintenance and new additions of sources and destinations, the activities performed on Replicate are quite simple to do post initial hand holding.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The data warehouse team was grappling with two prong challenge of maintaining integration with various source system and the additional pain to add a new system in the data warehouse ecosystem. Qlik Replicate has been successful in addressing both the pain areas effectively.
What do you like best?
Attunity is fast and user friendly. The GUI is logical and easy to follow.
What do you dislike?
I doesn’t afford all the possible features that are useful with other programs.

This is a great place to start, and hopefully they will continue to improve their product and add additional features.
