Signed up for placeit which initially seemed like a smart move based on what I was attempting to do. Managed to get hold of them via twitter and was offered a 50%off for life coupon code. I thought sweet why not, considering their exuberant prices. Only to get a charge on my card a month or so later for the full price of the subscription. On this basis I thought no, am going to be cancelling this forth with. Emailed them and requested account be cancelled immediately and funds returned to my card.The guy on the other end almost adopted a "negotiation" tone. In the end they only refunded half of the money charged for a service I have not and will not ever use again. Unprofessional and adhoc customer service met with overzealous billing. Be warned!

I looked for a form to create with list of my products. I could not find such after searching booklet, menu and similar. I contacted support that never answered and kept asking what I needed. I told him read what I already told him that was my question. He kept asking, so I asked for his manager. He told me "do not use inappropriate language or I will have to end this chat." I asked him what did I say that was inappropriate. He responds with he does not have a manager. Since when is asking for a manager inappropriate? I told him I do not appreciate false accusations and he tells me he did not accuse me of anything.

I paid $7.95 for a downloadable PNG and not a PSD? What a sad joke! Don't waste your time/money. There are better alternatives out thereUpdate 12.09.2019They got in touch with me back on the 26th of November, asking for information to refund me and guess what? No further contact or refund. I've used Envato services with success for other items but Placeit is not an honorable service. They're shady AF and should be avoided unless you're absolutely clear on what you're buying. I didn't realize there was a market for just placing images on a .jpeg without the ability to resize it, change the color of the garment etc. I wonder what UX and Data led them to this feature? Avoid unless this is what you're looking for, with zero ability to manipulate the "downloadable" image. You're NOT buying a downloadable photoshop file or .PSD.

Horrible customer service! Jorge Larios"Customer Support" never helped me. When I created my account, I made a spelling error on my email. after I paid Ichecked the site and I created some mockups. And it said that it was sending them to my email and I didnt realize until the next day that there was a problem. Jorge Larios said that he was going to help me, and he sent me an email to verify and fix the problem. After 4 or 5 days, without being able to get into my account, and after many emails trying to contact Jorge, I contacted customer service again, and this other told me to simply change my email from my mispeled account. If it was so simple, why did Jorge Larios make it so complicated. When I told them his name, they told me he was the manager, and that I wasnt going to get a refund, even if I wanted to cancel it. Bad communication through customer service made me lose money I couldve spent elsewhere. I enjoy the site for a day and cost me over $14 dollars and a bad experience!

Some of the images are ok but I had one which had a wrong background. I have had an e-mail thread with the team but they will not refund me, despite acknowledging the problem. Very disappointing.
