What do you like best?
Laser focus on the aspects of the product matters - drafting, variables and sharing. Rapid development and responsive support team.
The product support is 100% fantastic - issues are fixed very fast, new features are rolled out and general day to day support is high quality.
What do you dislike?
Sharing for signature is not as open as Docusign (although this is for good reason - but is slightly inconvenient for our use case). Reviewing/Commenting/tracking changes is not fully mature yet.
We like to share contracts with clients and partners, and we are generally not so concerned over who signs - Outlaw has a secure workflow where only particular external users sign the contract. We would prefer to share more widely.
Document management has improved massively,its not quite at the point where I wouldn't save documents locally - but this coming
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk to them - they are very approachable.
If you have a mess of contract document management and you want to control this but outsource admin to end users (ie sales people) - Outlaw is great.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Contract version Management, contract contract control, esigning, template based drafting.
We use the product so that non legal end users can draft contracts without legal input. The legal expert drafts the contract securely. It excellent at this - and has enabled to free up legal time internally and reduce external legal spend. Furthermore we've been able to streamline other aspects of our business including on boarding (HR contracts and offer letters) and we use the platform for ad hoc formal letters and contracts.
What do you like best?
I can integrate all my teams on one platform and make it easier to automate the entire process, from origination, to review, to contract storage and management.
What do you dislike?
I can't integrate Outlaw with my existing e-signature platform, and there's some friction for external parties to be able to execute documents (they also received marketing emails from Outlaw which I did not like)
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Outlaw helps cut down on the number of different platforms used to get through the contract review process, but also has the flexibility to import and export to tend to exceptional cases.
What do you like best?
Easy user interface and functionality
Templates are great and easy to manipulate if needed
Search functionality (esp. within the contracts content)
User access
What do you dislike?
Would like to have different views around the files (i.e. folder view, go-to folders, etc.)
Would like easy migration of contract ownership if an account becomes inactive

Have standardized contracts that you'll use in templates ready to go before-hand.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
E-signature is the main one, followed by contract search/repository is easy to use.
What do you like best?
Ease of use. Velocity. Don't have to wait for legal.
What do you dislike?
The only thing I don't like is that the layout can be better. Better fonts maybe.

Better layout and fonts for contract produced using outlaw.

We don't have to go to legal for redundant requests.
What do you like best?
It is easy and does not take a lot of time to input the data. Requesting checkpoints from my supervisors directly in the system rather than having to email back and forth many times (or get signatures in person) is much more convenient.
What do you dislike?
We have had issues sending them to signatories, and the formatting for some of the sections is off (doesn't allow for bullets, numbering, etc.)

It makes the approval process easier and it is easier for the client to check that the information is correct
