What do you like best?
Easy of use.
Smart inspector.

What do you dislike?
Pro version is overpriced and Standard version is not good enough.
As a wire-framing tool is just too slow and after using it for years I moved to Sketch because is faster, provides more flexibility, they develop new features and improve the software more frequently and is more open to the community with lots of plugins that help you get things done they way you need it.
Also Sketch allows you to move from wireframes to design or prototypes seamlessly, playing nicely with lots of other apps (Marvel, Flinto, Framer, etc...). Omnigraffle as a prototyping tool is just not good enough.
It's a shame that for a tool that has been on the market for so long, Omnigraffle hasn't evolved as fast as the needs of the designers who use it (or used to use it :)

Try Sketch before you buy Omnigraffle.
What do you like best?
The arrow options make it a smart choice for diagrams, flows, and sitemaps.
What do you dislike?
I hate how they don't use the same zoom in/out shortcuts as other design programs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are better options. I prefer Sketch for quick flows, but Omnigraffle is ok for more substantial flows.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Being able to layout a platform architecture is extremely valuable. I like that this tool exists for specifically those purposes, but wouldn't use it for anything else.
What do you like best?
Omnigraffle is somewhat like Visio for Macs, its super simple to use but very difficult to use well. The things that are cool is that its easy to learn and has cool force alignment tools which make it easy to do things like change the orientation of a site map from vertical to horizontal super fast.
What do you dislike?
The snapping effects are awful, its really hard to control where things are going and basic things, like an arrow pointing to a box, are unncessarily hard because of this snap effect.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're more comfortable with Illustrator, Indesign or Sketch as a wireframing tool there isn't a ton of benefit in using Omnigraffle unless your company requires it as a standard.

What do you like best?
Omnigraffle is a great tool for creating documentation, flow charts, and box/arrow diagrams. It has a variety of tools that are geared towards that usage, and they seem to do the job well.
What do you dislike?
The program has quite a bit of quirks and bugs that make regular usage rather frustrating. Strange workflows and counter intuitive design seem to bog down the program and make it somewhat frustrating to use, however. Additionally, it doesn't seem to play nice with other programs, such as Sketch or Photoshop - so passing elements back and forth can be annoying. Lastly, the program seems to be stuck a bit in the stone-age as far as pushing forward with popular trends.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We've created many multi-page client deliverable documents or presentation decks using omnigraffle. For that use, the program can be very beneficial. There are a variety of tools that make creating documentation-style components and page elements very easy (for example, wireframe annotations, flow charts, box and arrow diagrams, information architecture visualizations).
What do you like best?
Was able to go in there and create very simple charts.
What do you dislike?
It seemed there was a lot of tools to use. But I just went in and did what I needed to finish up the few diagrams I needed. The amount of tools seemed a bit intimidating in learning so did not explore it's full capacity. This was several years back so it is possible the interface looks easier to navigate.
