What do you like best?
What I like most about Mural is how easy it is to get people as guests onto a board. This is very helpfel when doing a large workshop with participants who do not have a Mural account.
What do you dislike?
The software is almost impossible to use. We tried it in a group of 10 and for at least half the people there was a delay of multiple minutes when someone dragged a post-it note from a to b. This led to a lot of accidental movement an chaos. For some team members it was only possible to follow when we use screensharing in another tools - which kinda beats the purpose of a digial whiteboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't waste time on Mural. Just use Miro instead.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Mural is trying to solve the lack of physical whiteboard that is a challenge for remote work and work-from-home.
What do you like best?
Bring able to ideate remotely with other team members. Also having a digital whiteboard to mind map.
What do you dislike?
The poor connection issues and sometimes lost my work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Save York work often and don't forget to name your rooms smart so you don't lose boards.

We like the visual ideas already setup on the platform so we can setup really easy.
What do you dislike?
Needs better UX UI design. The post it stickers look really outdated and cheesy.

Date the UX UI design should compete with InVision and Asana

What do you like best?
MURAL really appeals to the designer in me (and was first shared with me by our design team). It’s easy to upload images, to create “post its” for tracking, and to share with others collaboratively.
What do you dislike?
Fairly slow interface; adding new elements is a bit of a pain at times, and I've had to partition some elements across multiple MURALs just for the sake of functionality. I also feel like the zoom function is a little intractable at times. I like the product from an entry-level user perspective, but feel relatively little desire to learn more abou tit.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Mostly we’ve used it to keep track of CX problems, which we then share with the design and system teams (many of whom are remote). It makes for easier sharing than, say, a spreadsheet or a Google doc. Categorization is supported through multiple dimensions, and is pretty easy to enforce.
What do you like best?
I like that you can use this virtually. It's great for online collab sessions.
What do you dislike?
Sometimes it is a bit hard to paste the sticky notes.

Virtual collaboration. It makes it easier when we are remotely collaborating.
