What do you like best?
I have used Microsoft Word for years and have loved it, but I now have a terrible glitch that is making it impossible for me to complete an important document, and Microsoft offers zero support.
What do you dislike?
Do you people realize that it is impossible to get phone support for issues with Word? I have a bullets and numbering glitch that has stumped two Geek Squad agents, and there is no way to reach anyone at Microsoft. I have more than a year's work tied up in this document and cannot complete it because no one at Microsoft is available. I tried Microsoft's "hot line # and was asked to type in a code for the person I wanted. Of course I had no code and was cut off! I'm currently looking for a different word-processing app. Any suggestions?
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Word is a great product when it works. When it doesn't there is no support, and massive amounts of work can be lost.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I have a very serious Word problem, and cannot reach anyone for help!!!
What do you like best?
Word is good for writing documents, not for much else.
What do you dislike?
The "edit shapes" function in Draw offers a very limited set of possibilities, e.g., an arc that is convex from above but not one that is convex from below (why?). Paint is much more effective and user-friendly. The Draw function is hardly worth learning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it for word processing only, not for drawing or bibliography.

It's not solving most of my problems. I use Zotero for citations (the built-in bibliographic functions in Word are very clunky), Paint for drawing.
What do you like best?
It allows me to create word documents on my computer.
What do you dislike?
The voice to text system is very temperamental. By default it tries to save everything to onedrive.

I am writing this review using the dictate function In Microsoft Wordwithout making any edits. It allows me to save alot of time since I'm not that great at typing , but I do have to go back and edit tons of stuff. It's always misspelling things, putting weird spaces where they shouldn't be, and putting wrong words in All together. Oh, there is another issue, putting capitalizations where they shouldn't be. I have found Google Docs dictate function to be far superior and that at least gives me alternative options where there is some question about what I said.
What do you like best?
I've used this product since before Google Docs and still find it has numerous advantages. All in all, Word is much higher quality for word processing than Google Docs and does not need add on's to create professional looking documents. I love the fact that so many templates are available . Now, docs are autosaved in Word just like Google Docs - which is amazing!
What do you dislike?
The new autosave feature has a drawback-one cannot recover previous versions of the doc. I suggest copying, pasting, and saving another copy of the doc with a different name to prevent issues that can arise if you are not happy with the formatting of the doc, etc. The 'save as' feature needs to be brought back as well!
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
If I want to do a resume, flyer, or a higher quality document, I turn to Word. The features are limitless, it's easy to use, and the results are professional.
What do you like best?
It is widely used and it has good compatibility with products from other software providers. It is simple to use and reliable. Due to this, I can easily access documents produced by other users and implement them in my workplace.
What do you dislike?
The most difficult feature to use is the formatting tools; it can be hard to adjust margins and the appearance of the work. Other than this I find the software with few problems.

We are using Microsoft Word to prepare worksheets, write reports and write tests. The product has provided benefits in terms of productivity as it is simple and easy to use. As it has widespread use, we have been able to access documents and worksheets from other providers.
