What do you like best?
It is fast and easy to use. Allows the users to remain anonymous so they can feel more comfortable indicating their opinions. Excellent charts to present the poling of the results which is quite handy to verify how your audience feel about a presentation.
What do you dislike?
There are quite a few bugs:
Sometimes the app doesn't remember the event code. There are times when a question cannot be skipped. Also, the dashboard could be more intuitive.

If you're a first-time user, I'd recommend to get well-acquainted with the interface before your event. Play around with the tools and test if the polling works.

Mentimeter is very fast and easy to use; you'll have a presentation in minutes to engage your audience with interactive questions and results they can see in real time. It is enterely cloud-based so you can work from any computer with compatible browser and internet access. The platform contains a lot of shapes, colors, templates, backgrounds and other useful resources to make a presentation with dynamic content your audience can actually see and vote during your presentation - They are able to see how charts are constructed based on their responses, giving you additional reliability.
What do you dislike?
Limited options for design, you must create the whole presentation into Mentimeter as it is not possible to import an existing PPT, neither to use your own fonts.
Being totally cloud-based can be sometimes a problem when you require a VPN to work since it might be blocked due security reasons. Also if your connection is not the best you probably face some issues when working on your presentation or when you are presenting live. Understandable it needs an active connection but a plugin for offline composing could be good.

Take your time when start using it - You might need to get used to the way it works as even is similar to Power Point or Google Sheets, it has its own pecualirities. Consider to test a paid version if you-re moving from other solution.

At webcasts are usually difficult to know if people isreally paying attention to the session, as well as virtual meetings - Menti allows us to create active audience participation and ensure they are in front of the computer since we ask them to answer questions through the session which they are able to see in action. This has beed well accepted so we used Menti also in large live presentations to run spot polls.
