What do you like best?
For a free and open source on-line application LimeSurvey is a POSITIVE surprise. It enables users to develop and publish on-line surveys with minimal hands-on training, using a web interface. The easy response collection process and straightforward data export facilities are handy to run quick surveys and analyze results in record time time.
What do you dislike?
A bit tedious to personalize surveys as it requires css expertise. Too bad that an library of ready-made templates is not made available. Last but not least, LimeSurvey lacks integrated analytics and requires to use external modules (Excel, Tableau, Watson Analytics .. for that matter.
Recommendations to others considering the product
LimeSurvey has made trmedous progress in the last year by modernizing the outside lokk of the platform and its support is very responsive by email. However, product documentation is lagging behind. Dommage !

What do you like best?
Limesurvey is easy to install, for simple projects, it is also easy to manage. It allows many customizations and is also suitable for medium-large surveys.
What do you dislike?
For some advanced features, it is not yet mature. There are still a lot of unresolved bugs and has limits on the maximum number of attributes per survey, which depend on the limit of the maximum number of columns that can be managed by the dbms that uses (pg or mysql.

Limesurvey has limits on the maximum number of questions that can be entered in a single survey.
If the survey is not too complex, limesurvey is the perfect product!

In my company we have implemented a detection process through limesurvey. The data collected, afterwards, were processed and used to make business decisions.
What do you like best?
Great tool for customer survey feedback, especially the ability to use it in various languages. Easy to use and very informative and easy to share with all team members regarding customer satisfaction
What do you dislike?
For new users, it can overwhelming so you need to take the time to watch the demos to understand all the features

Read all the surveys carefully as there is a lot of information to go through in order to become familiar with the tool

What do you like best?
I like the possible features on the application. They are easy to use and simple to manage. You can make a survey in a short amount of time.
What do you dislike?
I dislike the fact that there are a few bugs in limesurvey. They are really annoying and it stops me from working efficiently. I would like to have more updates so the bugs are fixed faster instead of a bug release in a long time.

Made to make easy surveys. Its very helpful to have such a powerful tool instead of building sometimes ourselfs.

It gives a good survey and is free to use. Its handy as is all hosted inside our environment this was a requirement to not have feedback leaving the network
What do you dislike?
A few things i dislike and could be done better... Its quite complicated to use. Its hard to cuatomise themes etc there is no inbuilt builder in the platform and the results are very basic. I know you can export and create tables in excel etc but more control would be nice and custom graphs with a drag and drop approach would be amazing.

Use the forums they are very active and it is the only way to get support.
