What do you like best?
Knowi makes it very easy for non-technical users to create and analyze reports but more importantly a semi-technical user can pull data together from any number of disparate sources. For example, we pull data from a MySQL database, joined to data in a MongoDB and from REST APIs like Facebook, Apple and Google.
You don't have to know MongoDB or how to manipulate JSON responses from APIs, with some simple SQL-like commands it's easy to manipulate the data that is returned and visualize it in any number of ways. I think this feature is beyond anything I've seen in other analytics packages.
Knowi offers a number of different visualizations once you have the data and it can be used for real-time dashboard displays, canned report deliveries via email or real-time queries and analysis.
What do you dislike?
There really isn't anything to dislike.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Knowi not only have an excellent product but their support is outstanding. In the unlikely event that the product doesn't meet your requirements they turn around customer requested features extremely quickly.
The power of being able to pull data in from multiple sources concurrently and join it all together should not be underestimated. It is extremely powerful.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We use it for business reporting on a wide-variety of metrics, operational monitoring for a number of systemic and human processes and displaying system and service metrics in real-time.
We have moved away from having to share spreadsheets and manually collate information or wade through reams of system alerts and logging data.
What do you like best?
We have different sources and data structures we work with. Using knowi, gave us the possibility to join those multiple sources (NoSQL and SQL and build a reporting platform that has a layer of AI on top of it.
What do you dislike?
There is nothing to dislike to date. Knowi's level of service is excellent and they are available to any challenge/question.

Easily connecting different data sources, no ETL is needed, which shorten our go live date. We join large amounts of data from multiple different databases.

Without any coding, we were able to create product and usage reports on top of our MongoDB.
Didn't need even 10 min of a developer hour.
The step-by-step data analyzing feature saves so many hours.
What do you dislike?
Price is too expensive for a startup.
If it was possible to have a startup price with limited features + monthly subscription.

What do you like best?
Know offers a web-based BI tool that requires no coding and is easy to use. I enjoy the ease of importing and manipulating data with their ReSTful APIs, combining datasets with implicit joins, embedding and sharing URLs in HTML single line of HTML code, and the toolbox of offerings for core metrics that clients may immediately request. I have been building BI dashboards for years and I like that this tool offers the ability for analysts at all technical levels to be able to make sense of their data. Data literacy and access to your data source is necessary, but this product has far fewer barriers of entry than other web-based BI tools like Looker or Qlikview. Their NLP algorithm is competitive with other BI tools as well.

Nothing to dislike, Knowi is a good tool

I had a NoSQL database in MongoDB that was a legacy database from a client's acquisition of a company that went out of business. The database was poorly maintained and not normalized - I was able to leverage Knowi to be able to make sense of data deficiencies, some geographical tags, and find relationships between the legacy database and the current database, adding a level of historical data to the company's metrics.
