What do you like best?
Literally nothing. To say that Jitterbit Studio is in its 10th version cycle is absurd, and an insult to developers who stick to versioning cycles. I cannot get the studio to work on macOS, neither can their support team. The windows version frequently stumbles over itself because it doesn't even handle files on the filesystem properly. The cloud UI is slow and bad, good luck finding any relevant information in the activities page. Oh and try turning off schedules in the projects page just to watch them continue to run anyways! TRASH!
What do you dislike?
Other than everything? No testing, no logging, no real migrations, no true concept of environments, jitterscript is an unholy abomination. All of this is terrible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Find any other solution possible. I'm not kidding. It's terrible.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
None, we're making a myriad of MORE problems!
What do you like best?
We have been using Jitterbit for over 5 years now, but are in the process of phasing it out. Jitterbit does the job and has a good customer service. However for the price there are some better alternatives.
What do you dislike?
The cost model has changed over the years and it's not worth the cost anymore. Even with being one of the early adopters of the product, they changed the contract at renewal and kept finding ways to increase the annual support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Integrating CRM, ERP, and other systems.
What do you like best?
I use it for simple data loading into different systems. For which it is very good. You can easily connect ODBC or CRM connectors up and transfer data to and from. You can also automate data loads/downloads.
What do you dislike?
Much of the time I use it as a replacement for Salesforce Dataloader. Where you just want to do simple data loads and extracts. Anything more than this and I end up using a more beefier solution like Talend Open Studio or CastIron/Informatica. Whenever I need to do any data transformation before the data load I would use the other solutions first.
I have found a couple of bugs but they fixed them very quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a great application. Its only be around for a relatively short time but its been really promising and the features they continue to upgrade
What do you like best?
Jitterbit generously reduces licensing cost for the non profits with which I work, making the price point significantly lower than competitors.
What do you dislike?
It is clunky to develop & deploy, the documentation is poor, and it's difficult to version work changes. I don't think any of my clients have been able to support themselves with it very well without an expert.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an integration solution, not a data management platform. There is definitely a learning curve, and the UI hasn't changed much in many years so feels dated.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
My experience with the product is limited to point-to-point integrations with files or SQL db's to/from Salesforce.com, the connector for which could be better. That said, I have been successful at implementing some complex integrations syncing many objects/tables with branching and dependent logic.
What do you like best?
Jitterbit 5.0 is very good at transforming data from/to various data sources. Pre-built connectors to Salesforce.com, SAP, and MS CRM are easy to work with. Jitterbit can make very complex operations seem simple. The transformations are straight forward and powerful.
What do you dislike?
Jitterbit 5.0 has a few weaknesses. Just as Jitterbit can make very complex operations seem simple, the opposite is true; Jitterbit can make very simple things seem complex. After speaking with Jitterbit support a few times, we could not come up with a simple way to have load-balanced Jitterbit 5.0 servers. The error handling in Jitterbit applications is clunky and not intuitive; there are at least 2 different types of errors (one for operations, one for scripts) that are needed to program around which leads to overly complicated code and adds boilerplate logic to achieve adequate error handling. We have seen performance problems/failures when crossing certain thresholds in terms of number of rows pushed or number of recursive operations. Occasionally the in-application documentation is incomplete/incorrect.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jitterbit is a powerful product but it has its quirks that you will need to workaround to have it be 100% production-ready.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We use Jitterbit 5.0 to push and pull data from various sources. Among these are: FTP, HTTP, Salesforce.com, Oracle database, SOAP web services.
