I ran IDrive for a total of three days. After installing and setting up my sync folder between two computers, the IDrive software started to randomly delete files within these folders. Not all the files, as if somebody highlighted the entire sync folder and accidentally pressed the delete key. I’m talking random items in random folders, 3 out of 4 files. I have photos and log files demonstrating this nonsense behavior.
I spoke with tech support multiple times via phone and chat. I was told this wasn’t happening, that my files weren’t being deleted. My log files and screen shots show otherwise. These files are now removed from my computer. Example of my activity log file from this morning.

With tech support denying there’s even a problem, I asked for a refund. I was told no even though their own terms and conditions page states.. “Please note on cancellation, refunds are issued if account is canceled within fifteen (15) days of its creation date.” I created my account on 8-16-21 and was denied a refund on 8-18-21. Well within their stated window. I called my credit card company and filed a dispute.
At this point I honestly believe IDrive is actually low key ransomware. My work files are now in shambles and the company wouldn’t give me a refund and offered no path to fix the issue. Avoid this company and their products. They are a scam.
PROS & CONS
What are the best aspects of this product?
It is very easy to use and I can download it in any type of computer, be it Mac or Linux. It made storing files easier in our office.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It is a bit expensive and I wish it has better integration with current premise solutions.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We were able to back up our files easily. It is definately a very good app.

What are the best aspects of this product?
I can access my files from any device. Also, I can share my files easily with my colleagues and friends. This proved to be very convenient in my line of work. I can also ensure that the files I share are well protected as I can set-up a password for those files. I am also not worried about security as the whole server is encrypted securely.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
An unlimited storage plan will be a very good addition to the already useful application.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Even if we have accidentally deleted a file, we don't have to worry as everything is automatically stored in IDrive. Retrieving files is also very convenient. I highly recommend IDrive to anyone who is looking for a reliable storage app.

It is secure and easy to use. I can also access my files from anywhere and it has a lot of storage space.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It is quite pricey. Purchasing storage space above 5gb is expensive.

Sharing files between teams and employees became easier.

What are the best aspects of this product?
My files became very organized as everything is stored in one place. Since I work as a teacher, I can store all the files I need in IDrive and easily share them with my students.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The download time can be slow and since it does not notify the duration of download, it can be inconvenient for my schedule.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Locating your files at any time became easier for us. As a result, it is never inconvenient whenever we forget to take a file with us. It also allows us to archive a huge amount of information, so you can really keep track of everything.
