What do you like best?
The best thing is their support. They are always there to help and make things better.
Another good thing is the pricing. Very economical versus the competition out there. But that being said, there are a lot of downsides. See below. You get what you pay for
What do you dislike?
The application is laggy. Sometimes when I click on something it takes a while for it to load. Sometimes I think maybe the data got erased. The card setup for the change management portion is super not intuitive. I wish things could be shared with outsiders and have things partitioned so that just specific things that outside needs to see is visible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Meh. Spend more money and get something better

Moving for spreadsheets into a centralized database
What do you like best?
We were looking for something easy to use that would allow us to manage our BOMs at a reasonable price, that did not require months of expensive migration and training, and was cloud-based. FusePLM fills the niche for small engineering firms like ours. The support has been outstanding. The company listens to it's users and is continually updating and improving the product.
What do you dislike?
I really dont have any significant complaints. I guess if I had to say something, it would be I would like a little more inventory management capability but I understand that is in the works.

Getting rid of spreadsheets, better organization of bills of material.

Easy to use.
Inexpensive.
Efficient.
Cloud-based.
What do you dislike?
Some features could be added to make it even more efficient. We often discuss with the FusePLM team and they are looking to implement our proposals, so this is not really a CONs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This product is easy to use and convenient for Engineering Changes Management.
The learning curve is quite fast.
Could be more automated, but this is in the scope of FusePLM.
FusePLM offers very good support and are open to any suggestion to improve the product.

We moved from excel spreadsheets to a system using a database. This is very more efficient to build multi-level BOMs that way.
Now we can thrust the information we see! This is always up to date.
