What do you like best?
So far, of course the cost for testing and installing a few test cases is much better than the competition.
What do you dislike?
Have no idea where the "pings/tests" are coming from or if they are distributed amongst different BGP AS numbers/countries. No idea what or where the sales breakpoint is on the monitors. Haven't figured out how to install a common alert email without having the requirement for an account (ie, using a group email expansion alias)
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Nothing yet. This is a test setup and I've barely gotten a few http monitors up and running yet.
What do you like best?
It is a leight-weight monitoring that responds fast to outages of my server.
What do you dislike?
I understand that they need to cover their costs and make money. As I run a volunteer server for a FOSS project I do not have that huge budget to add monitoring. There is no reasonable priced plan for that scope of projects or small-scale hobbyist projects. Paid plans start at $11/mo. The free service does its job, but you keep hitting restrictions.

They have a free tier for the applications that would be most useful for a start-up company.

I am using FreshStatus to provide my users with an idea of what is going on with my servers and I'm using FreshPing for notifications if any of my servers go down.
What do you like best?
1. Simplified user experience
2. Good UI on showing the downtimes with calendar and github like style charts
3. Available free plan but no support for cookies and password

Need cookie support for URL monitoring

Informs me about the downtime in seconds and helps us to push any patch or updates in minutes

Relatively simple interface, easy to set up checks.
What do you dislike?
The reporting functionality is quite basic. I appreciate that it's a free tool but a bit more flexibility - for example the ability to see an averaged availability over all the checks that I have would be useful, but not possible. Downloads of the reports would also be good.
