What are the best aspects of this product?

I love that I can manage projects, estimate times for large tasks, and supervise everything easily. The Kiln integration is useful as it allows project cases to be linked in mercurial commits and this improves accountability and enables us to learn how time was spent doing each task.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The minus points are the interface which makes it difficult to use the app and lack of integration with Trello (which is surprising as the parent company FogCreek Software created both systems).

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We use FogBugz every day in our web development company. We use the app to mange a large volume of tasks with team members located around the world. We can show our clients all the tasks we work on and how long it takes to complete each task. FogBugz enables us to break down big projects into smaller tasks, and we synchronize, maintain, and schedule each task with Kiln which is our version control solution.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I love the granularity which allows me to easily categorize bugs and other issues. This feature offers limitless possibilities, but you need to be careful because creating complex granularity for your projects can make it hard to use the app.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The vendor doesn’t do enough to help users and administrators to maintain the usability of the issue tracking software. This is not a problem if your QA and developer teams are small. But if you run multiple products and releases simultaneously on FogBugz, you need experienced administrators to use the issue tracking system effectively.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I used FogBugz to work on multiple versions of a big web publishing solution. We used the app to manage both the commercial and open sources versions of the software as well as web-based documentation and some extra bits of utility apps.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I like that I can sort and search quickly. At any time, I’m only a few clicks away from the info I need.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The search feature becomes dysfunctional sometimes, and there are system downtimes too. But to be fair, the service is usually back up inside the same business day. Another drawback is the software timesheet management and it could be improved by adding a more powerful overall view.

We create complicated software products. We use FogBugz for reliable, concise, and quick bug reporting.

The FogBugz bug tracking tool developed by Fog Creek Software is awesome bug tracking tool which is use to track the status of defects and changes or updates in ongoing software projects.Its very useful for company that have teams of developers and testers who want to track bugs and fixes on multiple projects.Fogbugz offer there service in very reasonable price.

One of the main features of FogBUGZ is the support for reporting bugs/features & submitting inquiries via E-mail, fogbugz is very easy to use and provide interactive user interface.

Fogbugz tracking doesn't notify user about the reported bugs in the system, unless he open it.

No option to generate customize bug report.No option to add customize fields.

Fogbugz should provide customize reporting, customize input field features.it should provide auto-notification(without login to fogbugzto developer /tester when any new bug raised or bug status change or comment added by developer/tester.

Fogbugz is cost effective solutions due to this any small company can adopt this for reporting and tracking bug.Very easy to use

The FogBugz bug tracking tool is awesome tool which is very easy to use and doesn't require any training to log bug or track the status of the bug. FogBugz offers a powerful search engine that allows you to instantly search any bug without any delay. FogBugz offer there service in very reasonable price.It's compatible with Android, iOS, and Blackberry smartphones, and the iPad and other tablets. FogBugz provide emails and notifications which keeps team members updated on changes to the issues and bugs they are working on.

No option to generate customize bug report.No option to add customize fields. it gets a little confusing when a single issue spans across multiple groups. Sometimes permissions to groups cause issues. FogBugz user interface is not very well polished in compare to other bug tracking or project managing applications

Fogbugz should provide customize reporting, customize input field features. Fogbugz should work on its user interface improvement. Fogbugz team should work on improving search beacuse search is very difficult when you have large amounts of data, especially if bugs don't have suitable titles.

This bug tracking tool is very good for day-to-day users. Entering cases is very straightforward, as is organizing and searching for them. It has a very user friendly simple search and a great advanced search .Fogbugz is very cost effective solutions for small company so they can easily adopt this for reporting and tracking bug.Very easy to use and learn.Raising bug ,tracking it and closing bug or i can say managing bug life cycle is very easy through this tool is easy.
