What do you like best?
Great for ticketing, registration and managing all types of events.
What do you dislike?
Our company have been using Eventbrite for quite some time now and have never had any issues, but unfortunately we have recently run an event and we were setup on partial payouts so we were receiving a portion of the ticket sales on the 1st and 15th of every month. Unfortunately we didn't receive the partial payment or the final payment on the few days leading up to and following our event.
These last 2 payments were showing in our Eventbrite account as already been paid out, but unfortunately the funds never reached our account.
I chased this up with the payments support team at Eventbrite and finally, 1 month later the payments are reversed and are transferred back to Eventbrite, saying that I needed to update my bank details for the payment that is being sent, even though we had already received previous payments to this same account.
We have now re-initiated the payments to try and send them to the updated account, but unfortunately it is now well beyond 2 months after the event finish date and we still haven't received our final payments.
Very Disappointing! Eventbrite have defended themselves by saying it isn't their fault and the cause is on the banks end. This may be so, but it still isn't good enough and there needs to be another option for receiving payouts in cases where this happens, such as Paypal or direct credits to a debit card.
We are now at a point where we need to take this matter further to get a positive result and our money back.

Nothing, they are hard to get hold off..
What do you dislike?
Shocking. I bought 2 tickets that were post posed by 3months due to covid, Ok I thought, then post poned by 12mths which no long suits me as I will be away that time and I was also hoping to take a friend who is terminal. I contacted them and they declined my refund request. I stated See Tickets have offered me a refund for an event I booked with them, TUI have refunded me (All because UK Law says event companies must now offer a refund) This company doesn't abide by the law. I will never use them again. Contacting them is very hard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Better customer services and know the sales law of the country.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Struggle to contact them. Online form is too limited. No human to speak to. UK Covid Laws say event orginizers must offer a refund if the event has changed. This company will not.
What do you like best?
I have used eventbrite quite a few times to purchase tickets for events. have also used it to plan events for my nonprofit. I like that it's free if your event is free. I also find it generally quite easy to use which is nice. if you're looking for something to do, it's great too. If you know what you like and you choose your interests accordingly, the recommendations are always spot on. It's hard not to find something that would interest you and there are always lots of free events.
What do you dislike?
Sometimes I find it a little unclear what the event is actually for however. I know this is a problem on the part of the organizers, but perhaps they could be prompted by the software to be a little more descriptive. This is only an issue when I'm purchasing tickets for an event, not when I'm planning my own event.
Recommendations to others considering the product
I think it is a very functional platform if you are looking to plan an event for your organization! I would definitely recommend it. I don't think I've used it enough to really see its flaws though I am sure there is room for improvement.

I use it for my Fulbright association programs. It just streamlines things for us - it is easier than dealing with a million RSVPs over email. It's more simple and straightforward to have people just RSVP for our event on Eventbrite. I find it makes things much easier!
What do you like best?
Eventbrite is very easy to use and set up an event in a very short amount of time. The dashboard is easy to read and finding attendees among several events is smooth.
What do you dislike?
The embed feature is very clunky and doesn't fit well with our website. The link out page takes you to a very branded site with no real way to send attendees back to your own webpage. I would like to see lower fees as well. The more expensive the ticket the higher the cost.
The enter promo code button is at the very beginning of the sales process. This is not the normal place and gives attendees trouble constantly.

Eventbrite makes reporting easy. Downloading reports to analyze sales is a piece of cake. Would love to see this automated in a daily or weekly email.

I like that payments can be made through one place

Can be difficult;t to get the event out there after created
