it works. if you want to mark something up, you can use this.

3 major issues:
1. pricing. you buy Snagit one time and that's it. done. Monthly subscription models are just annoying micro drains on your bank account. I don't need to host the images on your server. That should be optional.
2. Droplr disabled my WINKEY shortcuts that come with Windows. like WINKEY+e no longer opened Windows Explorer. It took me a week to discover it was Droplr that did this. slowed me down horribly.
3. Can't find the local screen grab file. Some website forums don't allow links to non-local domains so you can't link to an image in another domain. So you have to create the image then upload the actual image. I looked everywhere for the local image so I could upload it and it's obscured so much I gave up.
Only after uninstalling Droplr did my WINKey short cuts return.
I wish this tool was cheaper than Snagit but worked similarly.

Chrome plugin is easily accessible, the quicklink URL is helpful

Screenshots open up in a new web browser, not in the area where you embed the link. Also they expire.

The fact the links expire makes me not use this.

I love that the final output is a simple, short link. This makes it so easy to share and it doesn't bog down my desktop with screenshots.
What do you dislike?
I'm not sure why, but I have had a really hard time getting the screenshots to load in Droplr. I've tried all ways to upload files and usually 8/10 times, it won't load properly and I just give up. Sometimes when I hit "refresh" after uploading a file it will populate, but that doesn't happen often. If I had a seamless uploading experience, then I would use it all the time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool that lets you easily share files / screenshots / media. My preferred use is for screenshots.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Often, it is showing visuals to help articulate information. It's much more efficient to take a screenshot and draw an arrow to key information, rather than list everything in written format and hope that the receiver understands what I mean.
What do you like best?
the absolute ease of sharing screenshots and files
What do you dislike?
that their new interface is cumbersome to the point that you think they're doing it to avoid crashing their own servers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
if you're using a PC the experience isn't all that great...the Mac experience is lots better.
