What do you like best?
One device two numbers, ability to know how to answer the incoming calls, desk top app.

doesn't always connect to phone that i am calling. no persona;l service, Cell provider says its a dial pad issue and can help resolve. support is lacking. The way the contacts work

I like that I don't have to use my cellphone for my job. Dialpad is a decent alternative.

Calls drop, it spazzes out all the time, it's slow, it makes it very hard to hear.

Would definitely recommend based on tech...but only if you buy your numbers straight from dialpad. DO NOT PORT DO NOT PORT DO NOT PORT.

SERIOUSLY...DON'T.
Dialpad's tech and marketing talk a big game, and the tech delivers about 95% of the time. But support is awful. The customer success associates are not well informed, slow to answer, and are generally answering questions based on scripts that are haphazardly written.
You will get the impression that customer support either:
1. Did not read your question/email in it's entirety
2. Does not understand Dialpad's processes
3. Has never been in a customer support role ahead of this one
4. Might not have a grasp on the English language, and may just be copying and pasting 90% of their responses to you
5. They are absolutely overloaded and just can't devote more than 20 seconds to your email.
We were super excited to work with Dialpad, but the customer support experience is killing that excitement quite thoroughly. We're a new customer (less than 3 months here) - this should be the honeymoon phase of the relationship, but after nearly 100 emails back and forth between my team and customer support, we're pretty much done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
DO NOT PORT YOUR NUMBER FROM AN EXISTING CARRIER.

Great integration between DIalpad and Salesforce means out sales and support teams have the tech they need to do their jobs well.

I enjoy the phone integration well as the desktop integration when its working

More than once a day, the screen will go white and and we cannot answer calls

It's fine and simple it allows you to text and take calls. One nice feature is that it shows up on my phone as work if its through dialpad
What do you dislike?
It does not handle texting well, can't send files, any code based information, so for a software company it isn't a very good option

Don't use it if you work in the software or field utilizing anything formula or code based

We actually are about to switch off of them for something else
