Beware of obscure automatic renewal charges. I was charged DOUBLE the original cost for an automatic renewal that I did not authorize. Never used or installed this product. I'm reposting my original review of design modo from a few years ago because they inaccurately flagged this as offensive content event after they contacted me trying to get me to take my review down. This behavior only further validates my original review.I was very professional and gracious in my conversation with Adrian and I even gave him advanced notice that I would be writing a negative review if he insisted on charging me for a bug fix.DesignModo will only upcharge you for their released bug fixes to their products. I purchased their startup framework a few years ago but haven't really been able to make much use of it since there are so many inconsistencies and bugs in the first version. Today I received an email that it was finally updated to 2.1 and I was so excited to take a look!! You can imagine my disappointment when I discovered that I wasn't able to download 2.1 as an update but would have to pay another $250 to upgrade. It seems pretty shady that the original product self-admittedly is full of bugs and you would make customers pay for the fixes.When I contact DesignModo and asked them why they were charging for the update they told me "Startup 2 is an absolutely new product and is not related to first Startup. So, we can’t offer it for free." but I they advertised it as an update.Stay away from DesignModo, they deal dishonestly and their products are full of bugs.Also their latest reply says its inelgible and not related to any of their products but that's completely untrue. I purchased Startup for $250 and was so excited to use it! I gave them every oppourtunity to make things right with the buggy code and they insisted on charging me again, I'm writing this so the record is straight - you cannot trust them to provide high quality code the first time. You're much better using some kind of open source package where at the very least you'll get community support.

I forgot about my slides-trial which would automatically transform to an annual subscription – and due to covid19 I then found myself in a tricky monetary situation. I am really really thankful for the generous and fair reaction and i hope to be able to get back to one of the tools soon.

Designmodo gather to the web design and web development community. It's a truly fantastic company that help make design more beautiful and professional. I think their recent release Postcards – the Drag and Drop email template builder - proves how good they are. It's so easy to use a child can manage it. Beautifully coded templates that work on all platforms, desktop, laptop, mobile and are just clean and beautiful throughout. The pre-designed header, content, footer etc are precise and stylish. I love almost everything with it and it saves a lot of time for those with little time on hand. My only objection perhaps is that some of the frameworks feel a bit pricey.I haven't had a need to use their support feature yet so I cannot give feedback on it. But I am sure it's as good as all the other work they do.

Used it to make my site's company and gonna use this new version to make a refresh of the site. As a web developer you find yourself too busy doing sites for others and forget about doing your own site, slides got us covered.
