What do you like best?
Cumul.io is easy to setup and get going. Connecting to the datasets was relatively painless and being able to easily build basic charts was extremely easy. The default visualizations are well-designed.
What do you dislike?
The lack of customization from the user interface was problematic for us. We would have needed basic options such as default zoom level, or the ability to move labels. I'm not sure if this was hidden deeper, but their documentation left something to be desired.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We're trying to build an embedded analytics solution for our end users.
What do you like best?
Great user interface with modern features such as drag and drop ability, improving our workflow.
What do you dislike?
Not a lot of guidance on how to use the platform, making it hard for the users to get used to.

A good way to take control of your data and understand it!

The possibility that I can create new dashboards/graphs on the fly and so quickly anticipate on demands from customers

performance is still an issue with us, this can be considered as work in progress. the Cumul team is supporting us with this.

What do you like best?
It's easy to create a new dashboard. It's also easy to extract data from different data sources.
What do you dislike?
There isn't enough types of charts. I need charts with 2 different scales in order to compare different curves. There is no support for real time series with spread values.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will have to spend some time integrating and customizing cumulio to get all the value it can bring to you. It is a good tool and easy to use. For that reason it is not as powerful as others on the market. However, its simplicity is a value since a person without technical knowledge can design a dashboard without problems.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Commercial benefits. The dashboards are good to sell our product. We cannot say that's a good feature to have in production. Not yet.
What do you like best?
The program works very intuitive, and allows for quick analysis.The ease of creating different dashboards and making small changes in a copy of a dashboard really allows the freedom to play around and try different things without having to be afraid to mess up a good working dashboard.
What do you dislike?
It's not so much cumul.io but more the link with our CRM tool, it only has an update every hour. So when discovering anomalies in the data it takes at least an hour to see the impact in cumul.io. Apart from this, there is no real feature that I would dislike.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want an easy tool to visualize data this is the program you need. It also has a lot of links to CRM software allowing for a smooth data syncing.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We can have a clear sight of the current revenue, but can also have an estimated revenue based on formulas you can easly implement yourself. We use it also to track the status of deals per user, this allows us to contact the key account managers to ask for specific updates. A next option we are looking to use are the reports that can be sent by mail to give a weekly status overview of the deals for every key account manager. This way they get an simpel overview and know which contacts they have to contact that week for a status update of the deal.
