What do you like best?
I do like that Crowd Compass is easy to pick up and learn. It takes a minute to understand how everything is connected, but by playing with the program and trying new things, it starts to feel intuitive.
What do you dislike?
There is very little customization options, the sponsor section is dismal (why are the logos so small??), the analytics after are lacking and the ones that we do have are time consuming to interpret from JSON.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I believe we signed on for Crowd Compass because we liked the connectivity with Cvent. Other than that, it has been difficult to work with.

Audience sharing. Pictures shared in real time.
What do you dislike?
As an administrator, you spend hours and hours uploading spreadsheets with random letters associated with sessions and participants. At the end of the event, there is no easy way to get reports, you must email customer service and request a check-in report or a star-report or a result of all the surveys. The spreadsheets don't give you a comprehensive look at date, just pieces of data and you have to build your own spreadsheets to make charts and graphs. It is extremely frustrating.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ask to see the reports in real time before you purchase this product. Ask to see how to assign individuals to sessions before you purchase this product.

Real time pictures posted of sessions. Real time surveys completed. The polls are not helpful and you have to rebuild a poll for every session. You can not add more questions to the polls and you can not turn the responses on and off. You have to build a new poll for every event and every workshop and you can only ask one question at a time.

The UI of the app is quite good. Can customize with branding and features specific to your events.

Feature gap between CC & Cvent registration system, specially in the agenda builder. Fields are not mapped, no wait list feature in CC.

Get premium app build unless you are using it as standalone

Provide attendees with a quick way to build their conference agenda. Be able to the app during the conference to look up info., find their way around the venue, notify them of upcoming events, conduct the sessions and overall event surveys.
