What do you like best?
I like that it tries to be pretty comprehensive.

The Windows-like cheap looking interface.
Recommendations to others considering the product
If you're looking for a PSA solution try Mavenlink which is much better and has full integration with Quickbooks Online. If you want something easier and simpler to use try Basecamp which integrates with FreeAgent online accounting. Smartsheet is also great but doesn't have direct accounting integration.

Tried it but didn't like it so I haven't realized any benefits.
What do you like best?
Slow, over complicated and difficult to use. Not worth it.
What do you dislike?
Everything. The whole software environment is useless.

None....because the software is horrible.

The flexibility of the reports is nice although they all have to be pre-programmed to provide the specific information needed.
What do you dislike?
Everything is built off of timelines, which doesn't work for CROs where tasks are performed and billed based on different factors whose timelines can't be estimated accurately (when sites are activated, when SAEs are reported, etc.)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that your industry matches up with the way that Clarizen breaks down a project. If everything is timeline based, this may not be the system for you.

As long as people enter the data, the reports can be generated and modified to do a lot of different things, which is helpful.
What do you like best?
Clarizen promises a lot of collaboration tools and visibility across our organization. Our team was excited by the bells and whistles.
What do you dislike?
Ultimately we found the sales reps didn't understand our business needs and we wasted a 1 year license and a lot of time trying to "make the shoe fit". If you go forward with Clarizen be ready to spend a lot of time customizing. In theory, "Clarizen can do anything". But we found the workarounds that would be required to get it to fit our workflows were not usable for our business and the documentation provided wasn't up to date. On top of this our customer "success" representative changed at least 3 times.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Our goals for adopting a new system was to increase reporting and pipeline management across our organization. However, in the end we were unable to move forward with an adoption.
What do you like best?
I did like the reporting and timesheet entry. Seem simple enough. Comment section was nice and useful as well.
What do you dislike?
I did not like the integration piece with JIRA. It had multiple issues syncing and uploading. Also, the managing of projects and determining hours left was difficult to determine.

We have been able to track time using clarizen.
