What do you like best?

What do you like best?
That it shuts down. Honestly, while it feels cheap, it does most of what it promises most of the time successfully. It does handle whos checked in vs in the room vs done pretty well, and the scheduler handles multiple doctors well, as long as you are fairly careful scheduling.
What do you dislike?
Current issue (detailed after) serious enough to cause financial patient info issues aside, They fail at most of what they do. You cannot get a manager or help, I've been trying for 6 months. The program is slow, clunky, and awkward.
The scheduler scroll wheel defaults to changing doctors, so it misschedules people once every other day or so, and we spend time correcting it each day. The checkout area pauses for 3-5 seconds every time you post something. The patient management gets messed up if you actually click on the search bar instead of just typing. Inventory cant handle more than 100 items, so if you do you have to scroll to the bottom, and it adds 100. So for 500 items, you have to scroll to the bottom, wait, scroll to bottom, wait, 5x times. The new update changed the layout, except only cosmetically. It now looks like html5's generic style. No seriously, it looks about as good as a web form.
As for my issue: The internal payment system that they run messed up and took someone payment but applied a debt. I can't change or delete it, and its been since august that this difference of $473 is on a patients account, and they won't change it. They told me in september (30 days after, a dozen calls later) that its a known issue, and they are patching it and will update me. Well, countless calls from my side later, they updated it a month ago, but it didn't fix the number. We are now in 2018 and we still cant get an accurate report from the system because of it. So, lets say they want a copy of their billing of 2017. I cant give it to them without handwriting things on it, or recreating their entire history day by day, item by item. I've asked and asked, and left messages, and never a call back. Please don't support them, I regret our purchase.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Unless you have a very simple-standard office, don't. Its prickly, awkward, and requires learning of its quirks. If you want some feature outside the normal bounds, supposedly they have it, but not in my experience.
When talking to them, I would be very careful to ask HOW the software handles functionality x, y, or z. rather than accept a "Of course it does that!".

They are supposed to support our front desk staff with scheduling, billing, and reporting. Scheduling is decent but has a lot of easy mistakes to make. Billing functions well enough, glitch aside. Generating reports is nice for the doctors, and it does well for printing, but it doesn't export data in excel tables, requiring a lot of cleanup.

What do you dislike?
Chirotouch bought out our previous software and so we were forced to make a change. We didn't have to go with Chirotouch but we did because the concerns that we had were assured to us that they could accomplish them. We asked them if it had mobile capabilities and they assured us that is does. Later, we found out that it does only if you pay your internet company for a static IP address every month. We asked them if it could be used by two providers and they said yes. We later found out that when two providers are seeing the same patient, like in a coverage situation, the previous note does not populate. In other words, the notes do not follow the patient, they follow the provider, which makes a huge problem in continuity of charting. With everything that we asked them if they could do, they misled us. It wasn't a full lie but it wasn't the full truth either.
The customer service is beyond awful. I think because they acquired an onslaught on new clients, they hired people in customer support who have no clue about how the program works. I think I had more training on the program than them. It's impossible to get through to a person on the phone without waiting on hold for over 30 min so we internet chat with them. It takes on average about 30 min for them to even understand what we're asking and then another ten minutes for them to tell us that whatever we are asking for is not possible with their system. We're not asking for much, just for there to be consistency with procedures and ease of use.

We are not solving any business, problems with Chirotouch, but they have made some for us.
What do you like best?
It is a basic software that allows us to take notes, manage scheduling and bill services. The same thing that other softwares do at a fraction of the cost.
What do you dislike?
Ridiculously expensive. You'll need regular support and they WILL nickle and dime you. Their user interface hasnt been updated in about a decade. Customer support is a complete joke. They'll have you waiting for hours and sometimes days just to resolve simple issue. Less and less offices I consult are using them in favor of other systems that give much much more value for the money. Chirotouch has one of the worst reputations in chiropractic seminars and forums. I would not recommend using them if the software was free let alone 7000 dollars!

There are plenty of other softwares that wont rip you off and that arent outdated.

Customer service could care less about issues, emergencies, or crashed systems. They'll get back to you when they feel like it and only after charging you a premium in addition the support costs they already charge. Very Shady business practices.

It's a simple system, but very basic. Features are not user friendly
What do you dislike?
Not very user friendly. Not Smith transition from one screen or feature to the next.

Very basic, and not many features.

Physical therapy practice with massage therapy and homeopathic medicine. It's an easy to understand system.
