What do you like best?
Having used other systems Buildium is my least preferred
What do you dislike?
Outdated, slow in everything - especially customer service. Unnecessary number of steps to accomplish anything.
Minimal functions for work order maintenance processing.

The only piece of their software that's easy is their lease signing and that's because they use adobe.
What do you dislike?
Our property manangement company has used Buildium for over a year and we can't wait to switch (which unfortunately will take some time, in part because how hard it has been for all our tenants to just get setup in their terrible system). Their customer service is terrible- often taking weeks to respond to inquiries if they ever respond. Their software is poorly designed, burying things inside tons of menus with no breadcrumbs to return to menus. It generally takes 10 steps to do what other software can do in 2-3. Their registration for LLC bank accounts is beyond insane and requires dozens of steps that other services don't demand including hard credit inquiries for every owner every time. And once you jump through all those hoops- they can't even sync with your bank account to record transactions so everything must be done manually. Their app is next to useless and can't even record receipt photos. Often their staff are unfamiliar with their software and unable to help with basic question by phone. It's a hot mess and they treat their paying customers like a hassle. They send polls asking for feedback, which I always respond with a 1 star and they never inquire what's wrong or take any of our suggestions. They've done everything they can to earn this bad review- please don't make the mistake we did and don't use Buildium!

They don't always solve our problems.
In my opinion, Buildium used to be great. Others in my office have felt that buildium has gone down hill. I was always an advocate of Buildium until recently, when i started seeing the same. The application process has been trash since i started my leasing season this year around October 1st.The credit cards do not process, get rejected, or the card information just doesnt show up. My applicants type all of the information in and then it vanishes. It is now November 11th and nothing has been changed. Yes, they still send me all these things and ask me to write reviews. You know you have not fixed my problem, so why ask me to write you a review? Isn't that like shooting yourself in the foot? I am with everyone else who has posted a negative review on technical support. I have to reach out multiple times to get a response, if i do finally get one it is worthless to me. Will continue to explore other options for software providers.

Horrible customer service for a lot of money. Hasn't taken my applicants credit card for months but they still want to charge $700 a year when the system is broken. Snarky customer service, even though I cancelled and theywon't return my fees for the next year. Don't even begin to think about using them.
