I used them for over a year and even paid to have the catch-up services. All you are getting is custom version of Quickbooks, but you are pay a lot more for it. None of their system is compatible with Quickbooks or follows any standard format and thus you can't switch to someone else. I would never use Bench again.

Being with them for 3 years. All the sudden, they want to up my monthly fee to x5 while their service is degrading. Bad service. More $? Can't deal with a company like this. I'm a small business owner with roughly less than 200 transactions among 2 active accounts per month (90% of which are in US dollars and 10% are other currency). And you are going to up the cost above $500.00.2) Constant change on assigned bookkeepers. They do not seem to communicate when one leaves a job. Therefore you have to explain all the details every single time when you have a new bookkeeper. ==================================================

Bench bookkeepers do not understand how to account for sales tax and transaction fees. Bench is expensive and is not a substitute for a real accountant. I do not recommend their services.

Worst banking connections!- can't even get them to sync to my bank correctly. Responses can take days even in onboarding and you get a different response from each person you talk to. Great in theory- but they are small and bumbling their way through things- stick to in-person bookkeeping- online has too much "anonymous" work to actually hold them accountable for the quality

Started off great then fell behind and dropped the ball. Communication wasn’t great and it was impossible to get anyone competent on the phone.
