What do you like best?
I loved the ability to just easily capture a screenshot and then choose to download different file types, crop, edit, annotate, etc immediately. It is extremely useful as a browser extension and super user friendly.
What do you dislike?
The actual functionality changed dramatically depending on what platform I was utilizing the product, specific to OS. If I was using a PC, the product worked great, regardless of browser. However, if I was on a Mac, the use of the product became completely null and ended up freezing and crashing my Macbook in any attempt to use it.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Having to quickly capture screengrabs for documentation is made incredibly easy with this product. Also the added benefit of quick and easy storage and file downloads.
What do you like best?
The fact that it is a chrome extension makes it very easy to access and use.
What do you dislike?
The quality can be off and it gets a bit system intensive.

I often need to record meetings that occur over the regular phone in Teams and this covers that. I also use it to create instructables at times.

Makes it easy to capture images, particularly when full screen images are needed, saving having to edit and stitch things together

Very simple tool, for better or worse. Not many additional features.

I have to submit expense reports for my job, capturing receipts and maps to document mileage. Awesome screenshot allows me to do this seamlessly.

Me ha permitido realizar capturas de pantalla de muy buena calidad desde mi pc, sin mencionar que puedo realizar los retoques que yo quiera desde la misma aplicación, lo cual me permite recortar o modificar el aspecto de las imágenes sin necesidad de instalar algún software adicional, además de que permite la integración con Google Drive, por lo que las imágenes realizadas por este medio pueden ser almacenadas automáticamente en la nube, de igual forma posee integraciones automáticas con Trello, lo cual me permite subir mis imágenes a mi tablero por medio de la misma interfaz. Además, también esta provisto de una función de grabación de video, lo cual me permite realizar capturas de pantalla pero en formato de video, algo bastante útil de verdad con una muy buena calidad en cuanto a la resolución del video en cuestión.
What do you dislike?
La interfaz de la edición de video puede resultar muy confusa de entender ya que no es muy intuitiva con el usuario.
No dispone de alguna aplicación descargable, solo funciona desde el navegador web, por lo que no se puede usar desde dispositivos móviles o de forma offline, a pesar de que funciona sin mayor problema en la mayoría de las veces, en algunos momentos me pasó que decía que se había guardado la captura pero en realidad no se guardó nada.

Lo he estado utilizando para realizar capturas de pantalla desde mi computadora de cosas que he visto que me resultan interesantes pero que no deseo descargar la imagen en el momento, por lo que la opción más sencilla es hacer el capture y almacenarlo en la nube, de tal manera que no llene mi disco duro de información no prioritaria para mí.
What do you like best?
Screen recording; the ability to draw on the screenshot and save right from the software (which, I understand, is typical in other similar software).
What do you dislike?
The steps required to go through the screenshot process (i.e. permissions, creating an account for certain file-saving/sharing options, etc.). The need to upgrade for full features (i.e. recording a screen for over 30 seconds).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great extension that you can use without an account, but an account is required to use some features, like their "Projects" function (as far as I know). As for cost, I'm not using the full version, but it's only $20/year, which seems reasonable to me — especially if the company's buying!
Otherwise, one should get by on the free version just fine. In fact, other tools like Snipping Tool does everything the same way, but Awesome Screenshot has cloud functionality instead of just local, like Snipping Tool's default. Perhaps most importantly, Awesome Screenshot has screen recording — even 30 seconds of screen recording is great for a free product IMO!
TL;DR: It's worth the download because it has some functions that other screenshot programs don't have, like [limited] recording. And whether one chooses the free or full version, there's practically nothing to lose!

Idea-sharing is easy here. Also, I recently saw the recording functionality, which can be helpful in many areas (presentations, quick how-to guides, etc.). I imagine Awesome Screenshot could be even better if everyone on a team uses it – which, in my position, is unfortunately not the case.
