What do you like best?
Nothing, Avidxchange is unresponsive, slow and has not once since the beginning of January actually issued a payment to me as a supplier. Complete and utter failure as a A/P company.
What do you dislike?
Every single thing about this organization. I would not recommend them to anyone. Their service is beyond horrible.

Don’t do it.

Avidxchange has only created problems for me, and for their client. It has been a constant headache for everyone.
What do you like best?
When it works, it seems to be flawless..
What do you dislike?
Last year we had an issue with a custom check that we had them create. They blamed our issue on GP Dynamics and referred me to them. We spent the $499 to log the case with Microsoft support. After 10 minutes, the MS tech referred us back to Piracle/AvidXChange with ammo to prove it was their fault. They still cost us $499. Also, we had an issue with a fresh install; called support and was told they could not help us since it was not the latest version and there was nothing they could do to even attempt to support us.

Support has always been a problem... The website has a number for Charlotte, but they are based out of Salt Lake City? Very confusing

We use their Create-A-Check solution to print paper checks
What do you like best?
I like the AvidXchange has a lot of great ideas to bring to the table and implement.
What do you dislike?
There are a lot of outages with AvidXchange and the system don't work the way they should. Our associates want trust in the system and are very stressed with not being able to perform their job functions. We submit support cases and it doesn't appear things get changed. Every new update to the system or enhancement things break worst.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advise it to ensure the testing are done properly before rolled out and to ensure if AvidXchange is going to own the Supplier functions that they do it 100% correctly. If we are paying late fee's due to the treasurty team what is the point of using VCC to our vendors if we can issue a check faster in house? My other suggestion would be to have more printing centers centralized and located near other markets.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I feel like we used to get more information about system, outages, and impact on the teams. It now appears we lost a lot of support that we used to have and now with this change things are not being done efficiently. We understand growing pains but things for the last year are still occurring today and a lot of the main issues have to do with the indexing teams and Treasury and payment teams. We understand mistakes are going to happen but when we point them out we get a message that says sorry but nothing changes.
What do you like best?
The best part of AvidXchange is being paperless and having a history for every single invoice that is processed. Gone are the days of spending afternoons filing away paid invoices or trying to track down an old invoice only to find it has vanished.
What do you dislike?
The part we really struggle with is the Indexing portion. Due to the large amount of entities we have and the amount of invoices that are processed, working with vendors to have the correct information on them is difficult. This leaves a lot of invoices in research queues that need to be researched and handled.

Tracking down invoices has become so much easier, especially when it comes time for audits.
What do you like best?
I love the fact that it streamlines the process and has taken quite a load of work off my hands! AvidXchange also offers us the chance to go paperless which I feel is a big plus!
What do you dislike?
The growth they are experiencing right now seems to impede there ability to offer there offer their services. Responses are slower and there have been a lot more "glitches." Otherwise there service seems to be the same as it has been.

Make sure that you ask about how there growth is hindering there processes.

Again, our major problem that was solved with AvidXchange is the fact that it streamlined our AP process and helped us go paperless!
