What are the best aspects of this product?

One aspect of Ascentis that I like is it is very easy to learn how to use and navigate. Over the years, they have also improved the mobility aspect of the platform. They have made their payroll and time management features available online. You even update company data as long as you have an Internet connection.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I would like this platform better if there were more features to serve recruitment purposes.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

This platform provides us with the tools necessary for HR compliance (e.g. tax service, EEOC reporting, ACA reporting) and employee self-service. We rely on Ascentis for our timekeeping needs as well. Using this platform has evident positive effects on our efficiency. In fact, it used to take us more than half a week to finish processing our payroll. Now, with Ascentis, it only takes less than half a day.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I love that their support team is quick to respond and always ready to help. They are usually able to fix our issues right away and when they can’t they are able to communicate the reason with us clearly.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Ascentis would be better in my opinion if they would extend its customizability to allow for changing of section titles. I noticed only minor issues like this one. Not being able to send emails to employees that do not have work email addresses is another.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

This platform has made my work so much easier by eliminating the need to manually fill out forms and file documents. I am also able to quickly find the information that I need with Ascentis. They continue to make their product better and the improvements that they are making are noticeable with each update.

What are the best aspects of this product?

We have used similar products and in our experience, most of them use a turnkey approach. Ascentis is different in that it empowers its users by letting them set up and run their system, thereby letting them learn and become acquainted with it in the process. They provide you with a guided conversion process, with steps and timelines that are all well-planned and evident of their commitment to serve their customers in the best way possible.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

This software would fit our needs better if it would enable us to send task reminders to our employees.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Ascentis helps us achieve our paperless office goal. It enables us to do onboarding and benefit enrollment processes online.

What are the best aspects of this product?

We have been a recipient of the Ascentis team’s wonderful service since the transition period. We have several offices and this platform has been extremely useful for communicating with our employees, particularly with HR specialists. We have also been relying on this platform for our staffing needs. It is pretty convenient to have a cloud-based HR management system.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

In my opinion, there is nothing noteworthy to improve on at this moment. Ascentis has everything we want and needs for an HR suite, from training to finance and downtime factors.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Ascentis is a cost-effective and user-friendly platform that has been serving us well in our company for years now. We used to have the old version and practically shifted to using this one.
