What do you like best?
Story Splitting is pretty good. Visually it is OK
What do you dislike?
Very difficult to get reports/exports out of a view. (Just trying to export a filtered view to CSV makes me export all of the backlog!. The Sprint views are not helpful for Scrum process where I'm trying to keep focus on one iteration. The view often have too many Sprints and isolating the view is too difficult and manually intense to maintain. The sharing of views is too static and does not refresh automatically... only the view as I had it is shared, if I update the view it does not adapt... I must delete that share and re-share. The administrator can set up views, and specific ways that make the cards appear (with additional details shown like estimates, tags, priority, etcbut these do not appear to the rest of the team in the same configuration, so those have to be set up individually. Ugh.

If you are small and kanban this will work. If you are larger with multiple products and teams it is very hard to manage with target process

Team task management (Scrum/Kanban teams. Only realized some visibility, but it is very easy to get info lost and disjointed
What do you like best?
I like the ability to tie test cases to specific user stories.
What do you dislike?
There are several things that almost work the way I want except for one key thing. For instance, splitting a set of stories across two teams is kind of painful. Also, I liked the old TP2 interface and I miss having access to it. Searching by tags isn't intuitive.
Recommendations to others considering the product
I think Targetprocess is probably more effective for teams that use Kanban or other "card oriented" development methodologies. It is better if you have a single team working on each project. When there are multiple teams trying to access the same stories, things can get complicated and a little clunky.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We use TP to track our work. We are an Agile/Scrum organization, so TP is the primary way we track user stories, test cases, epics, etc.
What do you like best?
It is easy to customize and visualize task boards using features like color encoding to identify tasks needing immediate attention and help with visualization as tasks move throughout the development process.
What do you dislike?
The mobile ui is lacking and is difficult to prioritize items in. I often find myself having to login to a computer when needing to get additional information on Target Process items.

Configure your settings to be optimized for your users. Ensure that you use the correct prioritization options or you may run into mobile users problems.

What do you like best?
I use Targetprocess on a daily basis as a support person for a software company. I like the fact that we have created custom templates and are able to differentiate between different level requests. Targetprocess gives us an entire overview of everything that is going on and what tickets need to be handled or followed up with. As a support person I am quickly filter out a particular client or request by using tags.
What do you dislike?
As a support person it can be tedious putting in a task and the UX seems clunky at times. This is definitely not a showstopper, but the UI could be a little more "light".
Recommendations to others considering the product
I would recommend it as I do not know of any competitors. It's easy to see what our developers are doing in their sprints and it's easy for me as a support person to put in new requests.

We use Targetprocess as a liaison between client services and our developers, this helps us keep track of all of our 1st level and 2nd level tickets. Using Targetprocess has helped us keep track of daily tickets and the email notifications let us know when there is a new comment on a ticket. We have also integrated Targetprocess with Slack which has tremendously helped our workflow because we are constantly up to date on our tickets.
What do you like best?
Used TargetProcess in an enterprise setting with an IT department. The system appears to be very powerful, but also at times it seems to be like an elephant in the room.
What do you dislike?
You can easily get lost in the interface, especially when trying to create a filtered view of the project tasks you're most interested in.

Your team members will probably need training to understand how the TargetProcess system works, as well as how your organization plans to use the capabilities of TargetProcess.
