What do you like best?
Their search data and models are super accurate for identifying real world consequences of link building. Very high accuracy on a number of terms.
What do you dislike?
They've gutted their rank tracking system. Legacy customers who have been with the company for years were reduced from updates every day to updates every FIVE days. Unusable anymore. I may completely leave their platform and I will never recommend the service to anyone.

Look to SEMrush or Moz.com. Ahrefs has become low quality.

Ahrefs is a valuable SEO software tool. I find it useful particularly for analyzing companies' backlink profiles.
What do you dislike?
Sometimes when downloading Excel files there are unnecessary/unreadable symbols present in the documents.

Discovering new link opportunities
AHrefs.com is a website that collects backlinks data all over the Internet. SEO optimization companies pay for that data to allow enhancement of their clients' websites.The problem is if your web server is slow, like most smaller websites, your website goes down every time your server gets spidered by their Asrobot tool. I followed their instructions from their website weeks ago to remove them from spidering our website, but the practice continues. They spider our website, so quickly, that it knocks our website down for an hour at a time. We were knocked out of service twice yesterday and once this morning. Our server has been running slow all day, due to their access of our site, what seems to be on purpose. We have been unable to stop them and were forced to contact Level 3, and other top level ISPs to help us.Because of their actions and failure to obey our terms of service and their own posted rules, I urge everyone to NOT use their services and boycott that company.I am speaking with legal staff today to commence litigation against them and any ISP that allows them access to our servers.I urge all website owners to do the same.
They have good data and TERRIBLE customer service. If you live in a state where they don't have sales tax on services, they'll still bill you and collect sales tax on your service every month. They will change your account over years even if you're a devoted customer. They are disrespectful towards people who have paid them 10's of thousands of dollars.SEMrush, Majestic SEO or Moz will get the job done for less money and they won't screw with your account features without telling you.
