This tool helps us in analytics by enabling data pull from databases. We can also create tables and write any required queries.
What do you like best?
Run multiple queries on the different tabs. The indentation is well managed. Tables can be dragged which makes the work easier.
What do you dislike?
The error messages are not intuitive. Some of the times the queries take too long to run. Navigating ia pain.

Aginity Hive query client helps in data analysis and saving set of multiple query files as a set.
What do you like best?
I use Aginity at work to connect as a interface for Hive query. It's user friendly interface and utilities makes it one of the best querying tool in market. Creating a new connection profile is very easy and quick. Queries can be saved as a file and also a set of files, so that you can open all at once next time you need it.
What do you dislike?
Export results function works most of the times but has a huge lag. Formatting query works but could be better.

I use it to access Green-plum databases and also for SQL development. The query tuning screens could use a little bit more tweaking.
What do you like best?
I like the ability to easily abort a running query and also the 'tabs'.
What do you dislike?
The editor does not allow me to format my queries. It is really annoying!
